Okay after watching episode 35, I’m honestly done with how the male lead is being handled. Getting shot with a poisoned arrow, then falling sick after exchanging senses with He Si Mu… it just keeps getting worse.
At this point, it really feels like the writer is going out of their way to make him look weak. I get that the story is centered around her, but this is just too much. Instead of growth, it’s constant suffering with barely any payoff.
With only a few episodes left, I honestly don’t even know what to expect anymore. This could’ve been so much better, but the writing for his character is just disappointing.

As per Novel Think of the Deliverance Sword like a divine 'reset' button. Most weapons in this world just destroy or kill, but this one actually purifies. It can slice through ghost illusions, break any magical seal, and even cleanse souls so they can reincarnate instead of being erased. It’s basically the only thing that can 'save' a ghost rather than just ending them. It’s literally the most OP weapon in the show. 😭 It’s not just for swinging it responds to Starheaven blood and can cut through the fabric of the Spirit World. If someone traps He Si Mu in a dream or a dark domain, this sword is the master key that breaks them out. Plus, it’s the only way He Si Mu can 'feel' the mortal world through their contract. It’s basically a bridge between life and death! It's the 'Sword of Mercy.' It’s the only blade that doesn't get suppressed by ghost energy. It can purify an entire battlefield of resentful spirits in one go. It can even use star power to overwrite the laws of the Ghost Realm. Total game changer weapon if they show it's power as per novel....

Most of their bloodline is gone now, but since the Deliverance Sword accepts Duan Xu, it really feels like he’s connected to that same lineage. Maybe he’s a surviving heir or carries the “key” through his blood similar to the powers He Si Mu’s mother had.
I don’t know when K-drama writers will stop using and milking the FL + multiple guys liking her trope. Totally fed up with seeing the same cliche again and again...

I swear, Qing Tong’s decisions make zero sense. FuGui is literally stronger, smarter, and calm even without the sword meridian, and she still refuses to let him help. She’s putting everyone in danger for nothing.
