Philipino BLs always seem to have a triangle with a woman. In the end, the woman wins or the ending is tragic in a way the BL couple don’t end up together. It’s like the producers struggles with their morals, religion or societal pressures about encouraging Gay love. Why do they even bother. Notice the female is also a lead as well.
I watch with this in mind not expecting too much. I tend to skip all their movies because too many seem to be sad endings not favoring BL
