Wow I watched this 7 years ago. Gave it a 9/10 then. Recently remembered something about a Jellyfish drama and found it again! Maybe I might rewatch it again.
I haven't felt that. I've yet to watch the Chinese one. Like you said I guess the Chinese one takes its time because they have more eps to fill like most Cdramas. Whereas for kdramas there's only a limited number of eps to fill in the whole storyline that's probably why it feels like that.

Honestly I'm liking it even if it's slow burn romance. Actually I'll still watch this drama even if it didn't have much romance. The bits of life lessons here and there is a lovely reminder for all of us.
Started watching this one yesterday. This drama felt similar to Gracious Revenge which I rated 6/10 at the time. Then just saw it's the same writer. Don't have any high hopes for this. Just here for the entertainment.
Yep. They need all that to make it to 120 since it's a daily drama.
Yeah I understand. I was only agreeing to all that and saying these are likely to happen and more fillers will be added to make it reach 120 eps as usual in these daily dramas.

I've actually had to go through it myself recently. My ex left me after 3 and 1/2 years. This was my first rlshp, his second rlshp but first in person rlshp. He was dating a Filipino girl for less than 2 yrs LDR prior to me and she dumped him. He went ahead and looked for a girl to date in less than a month since he discarded me. Recently found out she rejected him back. His search continues 🤦🏻♀️ Everyone said I'm saved from him. Stayed this long because of attachment and trauma bond. Can't see myself getting into another rlshp for at least 2 years. I need time to process everything. He's gonna continue jumping from girl to girl like a monkey jumping from branch to branch. Only can pray for the next prey.

Hm. We need to still keep in mind that it's a KBS family drama made with low budget and below average scripts. So we can't really expect much quality from it. But I'm just here for the actors and the entertainment. Same applies to MBC family drama and SBS too. Daily dramas are even more worse than this. There's My Merry Marriage currently airing. Idk if you watch dailies. But yeah these daily and some family dramas are just purely for entertainment. Better not to think too much or take it seriously when we watch it. But there are other good family dramas out there from KBS, MBC that were better than average and they did make people think and take it seriously because of the issues they covered for example Once Again, My Father is Strange, My Golden Life. Idk if it's just me but the quality of family dramas have considerably dropped after 2020. Idk when we'll get a family drama like the above mentioned ones again.
