I was already looking forward to this one ever since it got announced. It's not only about the legendary story of king Yongjoo and Sado but also Han Seok Kyu ahjussi's back to dramas! I should be starting it any day now.
A great article, I'm thinking exactly the same, thank you for this one, I've enjoyed in reading. This is my favourite drama of 2014 and will probably be one of the most favourite ones ever. But I'm still loving A tree with deep roots more. ;-)
But this one is really so fantastic, worth every second of watching it.

The casting is just brilliant. Powerful performances by one and all especially Han Seok Kyu. He just takes my breath away. As for Lee Je Hoon, I have loved him for a long time now. He is such a talented young man. I am glad he chose a powerful piece like Secret Door for his comeback project.
Like you I am sort of fascinated by Prince Sado. I have read whatever little info there is available on the internet. Can't wait to watch the movie Sado. Another brilliant casting. Yoo Ah In, Song Kang Ho..enough said!
I enjoyed reading this article as it described perfectly well what I think of this drama. For me it is amongst the best of 2014 and it is headed to be rated 10 from me. All the characters are good and the actors are doing a wonderful job, but the two who really touch my heart are the King and the Prince...when they both talk to/argue with each other they show their feelings in such a powerful way that leaves me breathless. I'm loving the story so much and I will really miss this drama when it will be over.
This article reminded me that I needed to catch up with this drama, so I did yesterday, and that was four episodes in one day. It's a really great drama to lighten your mood!
