haha no worries i get what you mean! no it's certainly not like www, but more like each person, regardless of gender, has their own talents/setbacks. we have 2 MLs who are more visible for their brains i guess, while 1 ML and 1 FL more visible for their physical power and bravery, and other characters for their 3x appeal, cuteness, empathy, craziness, etc.

the ongoing feelings are more of a "comradeship", or where it makes sense, "enmity" even, rather than feeling of man/woman affection. at some points it gets quite impossible for these characters to even have the slightest feelings towards each other LOL! in my eyes, the traditional "gender roles" are not at all that visible during the whole show!

haha yes i guess we could surely categorize her as a 304!! she is good at 3x and she will use it as her "talent" for the related benefits (you will know what i mean if you start watching it)- no, the whole vibe does not really lean to romance and "ending up" with one another. but this is one of those rare dramas, where you won't be disappointed that people don't end up together honestly hehe!! :D

binged this in 2 nights after work and i will be thinking about this for a while, i'm certain! i'm honestly very uncomfy with violence and gore, but this wasn't super bad. so if you're not super duper sensitive, i'd suggest giving it a go! i didn't like the take on sadism tho, but as it was a short story-line, i could continue watching! learnt a couple of life lessons, too, which is quite rare for me hehe!

oh thanks for the article!! i was thinking about what could be the problem!! obviously, (other) casts or PD are not the problem- the PD has so many hit dramas that it's unlikely it's because of him!!

NOW looking at the screenwriter only having "Something in the Rain" and "One Spring Night" (my 2 beloved pieces) in her bio, i can kinda guess what's happening!! if "I'm Against My Romance" is anything slightly like those 2 works, it's gonna be a romantic melodrama, but very slow with slow-burning romance (probably with steamy kisses, but that's not important right now)!! and i feel like Lee Jong Suk's first comeback drama after his military should have a "bang" with it, and this genre ain't it (on a general level)!!

just my 2 cents- i know i'm gonna watch this anyway, cause i'm a big fan of slow soft (melo)dramas.

this was a fun ride at first, but then they messed up?? like things took a 180 degree turn towards the end, and it was sooo useless-

love the article!! for those confused, 17 pound is around 7 something kg, rounding up to 8kg (it's also mentioned in the article)!! he looks so good before and after!! i was looking for the reason he had to lose this weight, and the article says "the death of his 18th-life lover Yoon Joo Won, leaves a deep emotional scar"!! i think i can guess why he needed the weight off!!

why does this have such a low rating?? this was sooo good- not at all cheesy, with correct amount of romance vs. business matters!! like i dont get it?? i genuinely dont give 10/10 easily, but this was such an easy 10 for me!! no doubts- on the rating scale of MDL, this has to have at least an 8!!
