i actually agree!! at first i also thought he was quite manipulative even. but as the drama continued, i started seeing things not from nabi's perspective, but jae eon's. a person who hasn't been brought up by his parent since early teenage years, a person that always attracts girls for his beauty but not him as a person; anyone would start having trust issues this way. no one would want a relationship anymore!! the worst part was that his relationship with his ex was not as dissected for us as we wanted it to be?? so we really know nothing about his past, just like the other people in the drama!! at the end of the day, he had a soft heart for nabi, and it took him 10 episodes to actually say it out loud, but eventually he did!! unlike many, for me, this was a very inspirational drama, teaching me not to give up, after a single failure, and the fact that perfection doesn't exist!! even jae eon might not be perfect for nabi, and nabi knew it; but still decided to follow her heart and give them a proper chance!! i loved the slow burn romance factor, and the fact that it wasn't a lengthy 16 ep drama. hope everyone give this one a shot!!

this was such an easy watch!! also definitely not an ending i expected/preferred, but still-

deserves a 10 all the way!! literally doesn't lack anything!! don't even get me started on the fabulous casting, and am not just talking about the super popular ones!! all the cast members were literal gems!! the only reason i gave it a 9 was that i cried more than i anticipated!! like i finished 3 boxes of tissues in 4 days!! lmfao-

don't worry!! it all gets better as you watch more!! and no, hansoo won't do it, there'll be a turn of events!! ^^

i really wished for the second couple to have a bit more time together!! like we didn't "experience" their romance as we deserve!! it was just push and pulls, and suddenly when they actually are together, the series is over!! maybe a 2nd season for their romance?? am gonna be hopeful :(

oh ,of course!! you know, i feel like, nowadays, some of us go into light-hearted every-day -life romcoms, while expecting a huge masterpiece that is impactful and teaches us long-lasting lessons!! LOL and so we become disappointed at the end!! but Dinner Mate was a rather light drama, and was very food-focused!! and it didn't disappoint at the end!! now that we both liked it, i'm very positive that i'll like the other ones too haha- thanks a lot <3
