I think its not about that, its about the offhand comments that Se Jin makes about Han Gyul being an orphan. Its just plain rude. I mean I wouldn't trust a guy or date him like that either, but it does not at all justify the way she talks about Han Gyul having no parents.

Anyone else find Se Jin a very poorly written character? She is supposed to be this academic driven non-chalant character, but she just comes off as insensitive, insufferable, and just plain rude. The way she gaslights Han-gyul because he has no parents, just they way she is so rude about him being an orphan is insane to me. why would the writers even write her like that???

To each there own, but I feel like LOTFG is getting a lot of unnecessary hate. Sure its a bit cliche, but it was a nice watch. The same goes for TPOB and Love's Ambition, pretty good, but I do thing Legend of Zanghai should be on this list. I am incredibly surprised, Princess Gambit made it on this list, it was good in the beginning, but after the cliche amnesia in ep 20, it just got really bad. I personally agree with this list, but would place LOTFG higher and add in The Legend of Zanghai. I honestly watched more IQIYI dramas this year.

I definitely see what you mean. I honestly loved the way Zhang RuoYun played both characters! In my case, I couldn’t help comparing the two because I found so many similarities, but overall they have their own merits as cdramas.

You definitely need to. After rewatching JOL 1&2 and SSS multiple times, I can say that I find the JOL is written much better. That honestly could be because the screenwritter spent a lot more time thinking about JOL since it was a 5 year gap between seasons. Honestly, JOL gets really good when Fan Xian starts to become the chess player. When he starts his plans for justice, the characters in the show don't know what is going on, we don't know what is going on, it gets really interesting and fun. Do endure the beginning, and definitely see it through, it only gets better!

1) 4th: Their story was so sweet and very fun
2) 3rd: Their story was the first and it was very funny to see their competitiveness
3) 5th: the last 2 episodes really ruined the dominant wife role for me
4) 1st: Adorable, but very long with annoying breakups
5) 2nd: WISH WE GOT MORE SCENES!!!!!!!
