I had the same thing with the Korean actor Lee Min Ki when I watched "The Beauty Inside" not that I pay much attention to the ML's anyway, although I got used to him and have watched 4 of his dramas now and actually like him.

If I'm being honest it took me a few attempts to get into Chinese dramas as well as I struggled to keep up with the subtitles as I found they spoke faster than Korean, so the subtitles disappeared quicker lol
