I'm only four episodes in, but from a guy's perspective, she has more connection with ML than SML, and she definitely doesn't lead SML on (so far, anyway ).

She's had multiple romantic, sexually charged scenes with the ML, While with SML she was practically half dead when he kissed her, and she says to him she sees him as a friend.

Not to mention SML is practically obsessed with someone he saw from afar 7 years earlier, It is true they were due to be married, but they had never even met, which gives stalker vibes lol.

While ML has loved his dead wife and been guilty he couldn't protect her and has not moved on for 7 years, gets moved by FL, who arguably might be a better fit for him, the Crown Princess faints due to his hunting while FL loves hunting etc.

True I'm only four episodes in but that is my opinion so far.

And as a man I'll never get 2nd lead syndrome lol even if it's SFL I don't care if I like the actress more lol.

Always the ML / FL if Shin Won was the ML i'd root for him.

Was a bit annoying lol.

But the acting from Yang Yang and Zhao Lu Si more than made up for it.

Would have been nice to have added the reversible part in the drama as well.

Talking about the over the world part, I can't believe they left the other two to be Emperor and Emperoress they were not worthy at all.

Oh yeah, I read about that, that they completely ignored the ending of the novel and ruined the ending in the drama for " KMLM".

With WRTHW the FL is probably going to have ML kids and then by late 30's is going to be a single mother alone, as back then let alone now in China, single mother especially over 30 she is going to be alone for at least 30 plus years, that ending infuriated me, I actually thought that the ML dying would have been better, he wouldn't have to have the I'm going to die in 10 years over him, and then he wouldn't be abandoning the FL to be alone for so long.

Will eventually get around to watching.

And I am glad I'm aware of the sad ending, as I was 25 episodes into "Kill me Love Me" when I made the mistake of reading the spoilers and haven't finished it, that was 3 or so months ago.

I even hated the happy for now ending of "Who Rules the World" even though I loved the show.

Just watched like a 30 second clip on Youtube and it literally just ruined the ending lol.

Although knowing going in what kind of ending I'm going to get instead of watching 40 hours to have ohhh all the good guys die lol.

I started DOS about 12 months ago and stopped at about episode 5, not because I wasn't enjoying it, but I was binge watching too much and too many shows at one time so I concentrated on one at time.
And decided to rewatch this so I wanted to forget what I had already watched so am waiting and restarting it.

It's a shame she doesn't have more dramas. She has only had six lead roles in the past twenty years. I feel like I need to spread out watching them. I have already seen three: TWTWB, Encounter, and The Glory, and I loved them all.

The older ones look so dated, the oldest Kdrama I've seen is "You're Beautiful" (2009) and that felt like it was filmed in the 80's. 2nd oldest was SHK 's TWTWB. which she was stunning in.

She looks younger than her age, she passes for mid 30's.

I wish I could find that the true, pure, fairytale, forever love.
But as you say unlikely, especially today with not just how people think and how little respect there seems to be for relationships, but you the add to that reality tv, technology available now which makes it so easy to cheat, then all the toxic men & women telling you how you should treat relationships. Usually not in a positive way.

Exactly, I know sometimes Men and Women unfortunately fall out love or get in a rut, but at least try to work on it, or at the very least talk and end things before being with someone else.

If that is what will make you happy, no one should say in a relationship there not happy in, it's just all the lying and cheating that they do instead of actually ending it that is the really disgusting part.

So does the FL end up with no one in the end? 39 episodes are way too many to watch to find out especially for a show rated 7/10.

Lol , I enjoyed it myself, although I did have some questions relating to whether those vehicles could withstand even 10 % of the abuse they were put through.

Is this just an extended version of the 8 episode version ?

From what I've read, It seems both FL and SML are not completely into each other, along with Youtube shorts, there seems to be a lot of lying and I would call semi cheating just not the act, because you wouldn't lie to your BF/GF about it if you didn't think what you were doing was wrong.

I will probably watch it and ignore the morally grey situations as unfortunately that is the world we live in LOL, instead of being open and honest with one another about how we feel and what we want, we lie and lead people on causing hate and mistrust and at times violence.

I love there is a person on here literally saying that women should be able to act like that lol Dear god I hope she is single. Everyone should try to be open and respectful but that just doesn't happen.

Apparently An Affair (1998) is so much worse than this, it's the wife who cheats, but it's other characters other than the husband that she hurts, I read the comments and some people were wishing she'd died lol.
I'm personally amazed there is such a large market for this type of thing, just the sheer number of infidelity dramas I have come across since switching to watching Asian dramas in 2023 is astonishing, True I know unfortunately it shows reality but i'm so many wish too watch it.
