Oh, you know actual people who are friends with Kylie? I was really interested if Yeong's behaviour is realistic in this aspect. Especially after that kiss. And yes, rewatching with this on mind makes a lot of sense.

I actually don't feel depressed after watching it, I feel thoughtful, nostalgic, happy-sad... Because Go Young had lots of happiness in his life too.

I think that you worry too much. Six years is not that big of a difference. Have you seen The Rise of Phoenixes (2018)? The age gap between the leads is twice as big and it doesn't look bad at all. If there are negative comments, nothing can be done - haters gonna hate.

If it's just about the amount of time, rather than cutting those characters out completely, then I agree. It would have been enough just to mention the family situation they both had as kids, without delving into it.
The second couple was criminally underdeveloped. But that's probably good, because if I rooted for the second couple more, I would be even more frustrated by the ending. ;P
As for watching suggestions - the ending of ep. 3 was undeniably the peak moment. I wonder why Jung Ki Sub was disappointed.

I definitely agree that the series had lots of potential and lots of it got wasted. I disagree with some of the details, though.
The female character was needed to show that love is not about ticking the boxes on a list, but... About love. She wasn't that cliched crazy stalker girls character either - she defended her friends, who got hurt, which seems a right thing to do, and maybe helped open that dude's eyes a bit. Why was the introvert immediately open towards her? Because she seemed like his alter ego. It was a friendship at first sight situation - and I believe in that.
Talking about the family drama also made sense, because it explained why the MLs were f*cked in the head the way they were.
What I absolutely hated was the ending of the second couple's story line. One boy wanted to be a better person before entering the relationship... OK, sounds fine, but in his opinion being better meant earning more money? Say what? I felt strongly for him, being embarrassed by his financial problems - but I expected the other boy to reassure him that love is not about money. Apparently, in SK, it is.

2 sezon był planowany i wszystko to miało być wyjaśnione, ale na chwilę obecną nie ma na to szans. Dlatego lepiej sobie powiedzieć, że właśnie takie otwarte zakończenie jest dobre i cieszyć się tym, co mamy...

"Porshe dostał pierścień według mnie po to, by staruszek miał wszystko pod kontrolą i by Porshe przestał szukać prawdy." - pełna zgoda. I dla mnie to zamyka temat. Stary lis przechytrzył młodych i ukrył przed nimi prawdę - już na zawsze.

Ej, bo Vegas JEST popieprzonym sadystą, ale dostajemy na tyle dobry wgląd w jego życie, że możemy zrozumieć, skąd u niego taki sprany beret. Jest też sugestia, że dla Pete'a będzie chciał się zmienić, chociaż nie wiem, czy to dobry pomysł, bo Pete'owi się chyba to sadomaso podobało. ;P
A drugiego sezonu raczej nie będzie - przynajmniej ja nie słyszałam takich wieści. I dobrze, bo nie wierzę, że udałoby się im trzymać poziom, a fabuła w 1 sezonie jest z grubsza zamknięta - czego nie wiemy, możemy sobie łatwo dopowiedzieć.

No, it's OK, you are the sane one. Those who make ruckus because a BL actor turns out to be a real person rather than a character from their favourite show - those are the unhinged ones. ;)
I think that homophobia is generally very closely connected with misogyny. Men who treat women badly, are terrified by the thought that they could be treated badly themselves. And women have internalised misogyny.
My first encounter with crazy BL fandom was when I read reviews of the Frozen Flower. If you haven't watched, I strongly recommend it, it's a good movie with LGBT motives, but it's NOT a BL. It's a love triangle, where the upright thing would be to support a mutual love between one of the men and a woman - I don't want to spoil it for you, so I won't elaborate. However, comments about this movie were full of hate towards the women. Back then, I totally didn't get it - it seemed so absurd. Now, after being part of the BL fandom (but trying to remain sane), I see where those comments were coming from.

I literally haven't seen any of these. I thought that I am a hopeless case of a BL fan, but clearly, there is still hope for me. ;)
In many BLs, homophobia is like a taboo - nobody mentions it. And indeed, it seems to be non-existent in that world. Also, all or nearly all guys are gay. BL fans who believe that this is the real world as just as delulu as those who think that the actors really are in love with each other. Reality check is badly needed for them.
I just hope that fantasy fans don't believe that dragons are real. ;)

It is actually fascinating how Korean law is contradictory in this regards. Knowing that every healthy man has to do the military service, it must be a huge burden for them.

BLs are a separate universum. If anyone thinks that they show the real world, then they probably also believe that Superman can fly. Too naive!
