Romance in need, Romance indeed.

To start, would like to make a conscious notes. A good well played drama is forged by great decent of good actor and actress. Their portraying of the characters in this drama are immensely heartfelt. And gives defining vibes of chaos, mishaps and beautiful desperations. Also light and bubbly feels of a true love. It caught me off-guard , when I thought this production would just be another sappy school-theme drama. Turns out, it has more depth, ruggedness and flair. I will try my very best not to spoil on anything IMPORTANCE. So, here we go...

This drama tells a tale of an unrequited love, however it is more like faithfully loved. From ep 1, it is romantically narrated by the heroin her adoration towards her darling hero. Nothing is more intriguing than having flashbacks of 'almost' momentum.

L (our heroin), daydreaming scenes are as sweet as sugar. It is like mirages of intensified fondness. Very natural for the closeted-obsessed. Hence, S (our hero) is nevertheless the same. He's too, has the obvious infatuations as hers.
Their attraction to each other, sprung from their hearts like charming overtures. Whimsically, I've enjoyed the ups and down of their mood for love. It is delightful with a tinge of despair when things gone south.

My best scene, would be (surprisingly) the minute S hating himself for testing L's honesty. Is very humane to opt that. Hu Yitian nailed the crying scene, it's well put heartbroken.

This drama has lines of dialogues cleverly played within all the casts. Everyone really showing great performances. Nothing is less or to much. All fits superbly. Chemistry between OTP and the rest of the cast are very wonderful.

The OST blends well in all scenes. Oozing blues aura, very cool for romance.

If anyone here reading reviews, are looking for noteworthy school-theme romance drama. This could be it. Rewatched value? From from my tenth time rewatching... very looking forward for another one. Truly binge-watch worthy.

Revenge will bite you back

This drama has been the guru of all revenge movies…

Not a melodrama material. However ten times the fun.

Must warn for all the blood and gore, violence and angst, swearing words. This drama for sure and for real has that truth beyond the truth essence in life.
Each episodes depicts the harsh truth for the weak must suffer. Retaliation then made by this awesome not so ordinary party of five. Each has their painful story and each face their demons, eventually.

Villains are on another level of viciousness. Again, viewers consideration is highly recommended. Be very wise and thoughtful and keep in mind this is just story telling with intense visualization. So when it get too intense quickly take three minute pause, get a soda for a sip or just make sure to watch it with a friend.

Acting is top notch. Lee Je Hoon is on a roll of yet hit wonder. Have been adoring him with this type of genre, ever since Signal.
Then again, this production has an amazing ensemble cast. Heroes, villain and victims are played with excellent acting skill.
OST and BGM are well orchestrated. It is like the utmost perfect set up. Watching this drama from start to end is such a revelation that action super heroes film can be made as real as this. Without extreme CGI or embellished costume suit. Even their villain is scarier than some loony scientist or billionaire gone mad.

This drama deserves more seasons. It even has the perfect ep 16 ending. Superb!

Divine

Long story short, literally... This has the astounding 51 episode.

Each episode is fun to watch and has all the elements.

You know when watching period drama, it’s crucial to get hooked at 1st episode. And then to be able to maintain the excitement of the story from then untill ending, that’s just how great this drama is.

Ha JiWon, Ji Changwook and Joo Jinmo love triangle is steaming and vibrant.
They deliver it so well, and created the divine worlds of the royals. History drama at epic level.

I’ve watched this back in 2013 and anticipating each episode release with high enthusiasm. In result, they’re amazing and breathtaking.

Ha Jiwon is excellent in capturing all the emotion of a woman in a men’s world. Tormented between love and affection. This is what it was and actually happening. She’s affectionated with one man. At the same time, falls helplessly in love with another man. So interesting...

Ji Changwook’s character is adorable in here. Not captivating or handsomely gorgeous glamorously heroic. However he’ll definitely melts hearts. And sheds us tears of sympathy and heart wrenching ways. His evolution from being vulnerable to become fiercely strong, just amazing.

Joo Jinmoo has that King elements in him which lit up every time his scene is on. And that makes him the perfect ultimate rival. He will torn you mindfully, and left with all the doubting moments of weatheyor not the writer would plot twisted this historic based drama. Diligently, the writer stays in the line of history.

Rewatched value is a must but with a plan. Considering its 51 episode.
Everything from costume to music scores, settings and soundtracks was done well with perfection. So, if you are looking for politics in raw, intrigue, betrayal and hard wrenching love triangle. This is your treats.

The Good and Handsome Heart Detective

Detectives series should be made like this.
With a pinch of cute flirting.

The actors.
Jang Seung Jo, caught my attention the minute he appears in episode 1. Why do I feel like, watching him has always been like the first sip of coffee. It immediately wakes your attentiveness. And he is very handsome with all his character too. Lieutenant Oh Ji-Hyuk, is fearless and will hunt the bad guys to the very core of their existence. And yet, he is cool as the autumn breeze and calm as a river. Gallantly brave and dazzled strong when seeking justice. Clever. His dark past, lavish inheritance and insomnia-prone, definitely not his weaknesses. And that is what so great with his character. Very new. Unfamiliar. And does make your blood hot.... I’m trying to define intriguing in a sexy way, hopes that working. #giggles
Want more of this Lieutenant, he will keep us safe.

Son Hyun Joo as Kang Do-Chang is such thropy-deserving Cop. Righteous is about knowing both sides of the story. Lionhearted.

Lee Elijah as Jin Seo Kyung is as brave and decent as reporter should have been. The world is a scary place. And seeking truths are not a monkey business. It is valorous deeds and must done with honor.

The villains are new and interesting. One or Two is obviously. One is vaguely. One is a victim. One is fabricated. Story telling is deep but quickly enough explained without lessen any thrilling moments. Family is huge issues brought up here as well. And not in a way judgmentally but more like with a clear head. The story tells how to be right and brave and strong and more importantly in giving chances. Life is not a charity, but humans are generous. And should never failed to always helping others.

Now let’s talk about the flirting between Ji Hyuk and Seo Kyung. It deserves an episode of closure or may be just gives us watchers one episode treats of the what-if and will-it moment. Their chemistry is so laid-back and adorable at the same time. Words just calmly spoken and very wit. You’ll be smiling without realizing it. I know I have in several occasions. This is a strong wish for Season 2 Please...

After this, I would need to make a fmv to cherished Ji Hyuk and Seo Kyung moments...

It is after all, a one of kind detectives stories

IMPRESSIVE

This is is how back-and-forth-time-travel-romance drama should be aimed to produce.
The story is so genuinely mysterious... you can guessed but wont get it right. Yes. it’s that good.
Been a while encountering drama such as this. And the OST is impeccably matched every scene in the movie.
Casting is so wise and supporting. No flaws, everything is a perfect puzzle fits on frames.
Visuals are amazing...
Costumes, hair and make up maybe needs a bit of work. Just a tiny bits.
Loves it when a story tells like this, brings you the what if memory of your youth.
This movie is about how is every day matters. And you just have to be open minded and gives the best version of yourself. It left me with that impression.

Pretty Nice for Chaotic Love Line

This drama focus is all over the place. The actings are great. It is like a beautiful chaos.

Fantasy theme drama is one hard to pull off. The actors got to be sleek enough with their entire performance to make their scenes ethereal. It’s a lot to bring the imaginary to live. The CGI here is glowing good and still awkwardly executed. Some shapes is just not blending nicely. The sand monster looks like stiff godzilla. Spotted view wobbly feet landing on their fighting and flying scenes.

Their costume is not embellished bejeweled, but the fabrics flow enchantingly. The head pieces very modest nothing is sparking enough to blind the eyes. The mermaids fabrics has beaming light better than any of the jewels. The swords look playful and plastics. Their props team needs serious detailing overview. Luckily the cast ensemble are mostly face card. So anything they wore is just felt breathtakingly pretty. And sugar view is always nicer to watch.

Acting is the all reason of continuing to watch this drama. The acting quality is good decent and somewhat spectacular actually. No lines was spoiled half baked. Every dialogues has depth and the proper execution to bring out each scenes.
Eventhough the storyline and renditions are all over the place. Chaotic. Messy and overlapping. The revenge plots is not vengeful enough. The villains not so bright. Hence the heroes not doing so much either. The way things got dragged just boring and annoying.
ChongMing and Shi Ying bromance felt natural and adorable. ChongMing truly the birdy character preaching awesome performance.
Giving both the child actors and actresses a ten for excellent performance. The fluidly captures all the emotions needed for the build up.

The love triangle, is kind of weak and dry. The ideas was reincarnation lovers clashes with bad omen couples. That should’ve been interesting and juicy to watch.
Zhi Yuan has this mysterious vibes with his wicked smile. Explore that. Bring more latitude of his 200year something kept away desire. They don’t do justice with his character. He becomes this cheesy character and was only left being a shadow of this and that. Then suddenly at the end 10 episodes, he is being shoved here and there to get the intensify love triangle. It felt being rap up at F1 speed level.
Wished they create better build up on the romance, even if it supposedly be lukewarm. The OTP got cute flickers on their romance scenes.
The way hesitation keep overclouding Shi Ying attitudes towards Zhu Yan is just tediously long. When at the start he seemingly sure of having a crush, why detoured it in falling obliviously clueless.
However, there were moments. Not plenty enough. Where Shi Ying is actually felt not robotic. The temporary amnesia moments brings color to Shi Ying face and more warmth.
My favorites scenes would be where at the end Shi Ying played on duo character clashing in one body. And when he stabs himself.
At start my thoughts were like Shi Ying and his plenty magic spells. It never got into that though. Just Shi Yang and his plenty back and forth vagueness.

The ending is pretty predictable. And it is what it is. The way the episode develops on each is not witty and indulging enough. The acting is what kept me going to finish. It is a good thing the cast here are fantastic. Rewatching values are just so so. I do say this, this one still pretty good to watch if you’re on mid series binge watching waiting for that one unstoppable craving drama to start.

Yin and Yang - edgy vibes

Finally! Something screams epic

This is the very edgy version. And both QingMing and BoYa oozing hotness.
Wait, it doesn’t stop there. Even the guarded spirit is handsomely casted. They all looked ethereal.
Villains and demons are eerie and steaming hot too.

CGI parts diluted well with the story telling. It just lift the whole magnitude of every scene.

The whole Chang’An city landscape was just breathtaking and rolls in with the music. Rendition is flowing like fitted puzzle pieces. Fights scenes all blood and gory.

And when BoYa raise with his noir wings, marvelous. This sets them apart. We’ll be seeing lot’s of fallen angels in action, being heroes.

This movie is pictured amazing

Smitten like a kitten

That intro song is just such an enjoyment.
And the reason why next episode is something to look forward.

Gaming is not exactly my cup of tea. However watching Wang YiBo role as a gamers (and a top one he is) that’s another thing. Let’s called it a very hot and steamy gamers he is.

Giving this series a shot was like getting crisp out of the chips. You just can not stopped. This storyline is made good and well rendition.

Soundtrack is a class. Hit all the right marks as each scene backsound. Really suit with the mood.

Character Characters. They are actually doing great. Everyone is up their game. And has create a very pleasant sketches.

The romance is there. Plus one with the spicy jealousy. Acidic misunderstandings. Manipulating white lies. And the all in confession session . Tearful breakups. Epic reconciliation.

Rewatching values, is a TEN. Because, why not let us watch Wang Yibo brooding and bothered for a girl. If that is what it takes to gets us girls all dreamy.

Jack of all trades...

If anything this drama has taught me is that the good is the bad, and the bad is the good.

There was this quotes in this movie where a lawyer wished people has tag for good and evil. Then the Police Officer replied to him, how would you know if you are good enough to be tagged as good. Being Human is about chances and to give a shot of becoming kinder each day. Forgiving bitter memories. Accepting flaws. And has that 1 percent heroism which triggers the soul to be brave.

Huge fan for Hwang Si Mok. Dashing and brave yet vulnerable with certain suppression. Then again, I’m always amazed by Jo Seung Woo since God’s Gift. He is a brilliant actor. And genuine in every roles he acted. He’s hinted smile is like a brief of warmth Sunshine

I’ve rewatched season 1, three times and stil find it interesting to watch. You gets to learn characters and to me personally, it’s stress-freeing.

Sometimes Hwang and Han relationship reminds me of Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon from Mentalist. Less bantering, but the same level of intense. Both understand each other like a puzzle cube. You can mixed the colors anyway you like but the write twist you’ll matched all colors.

The storylines are epic, brilliant and genius. That’s all my spill

😃

Never ignores it!

Bullying are real. No matter unintentionally done or unconsciously said. It could happened anywhere and in any form. You won’t realize the second you became timid in a person or harsh in commenting. Just because you deserves an opinion or to have a character.
In my teen years, I was a bit confuse of how friendships works. And I was hopping so much to be accepted by my so called colleagues.
This movie reminds me of that, of those precious moments which made me learn to accept differences. To see beyond appearances. And to be carefully with words.
This movie has Jackson Yi and I am so proud of him here. He scares me (in a good way of course). His fierce eyes tells his character well. I don’t even understand Mandarin language. But I know in his every gesture and stare, he made his character alive and told his story well.
I wish I could rate this movie 100 or more... then again... What I would wish more is that anyone who had seen this movie will changed to be a better Human being.
To stop bullying (in any form). To pays mor respects with each other and life. To spoke opinion wisely. To deliver negativity in an honest but kind ways (it’s possible when it get’s harder to type then you already trying to care). To help in anyway without hesitation.
Watch this each time you feel hesitant or on the crossroads for something... Be calm then choose wisely.

Winter is beatiful. Ramyun is comfort

To be honest, I’ve rewatched this like five times already. And ep 1 is my love at first sight!

And Jo Insung is the epitome of winter. He is the brand ambassador of the freeze season on planet Earth.
Would you need more reason? Him being modest in some outskirts village, as a temp owner of grocery and small diner. With his kind smiles greet visitors from baby to grandparents. He maybe an average cook, but the most dazzling one 😃.

Cha Taehyun has the biggest warmth to share. Always with smile in all occasions. Quick witted and spirit high. I’m inspire with his energies.

This show is like a new taste. And with pandemic still shadowing our world, holding us from making traveling plan as free as we’d liked to. Unexpected Business is like our unexpected go-to-feel-good-dreamy-about-trips.
I missed the snow, and winter specially. I missed that smell of chill breeze at 06.00AM. The food winter brings. Hot soup. Hot coffee. Hot grilled fish. And more soup.

Modesty is the key for a good variety show. And I found that plenty in this show. That is why, it is enjoyable and lasted.

Clever and Charming

Never have I ever repeating two starting episode with excitement. It is almost like an instinct to hit replay all over again. Yes all platform just to entertain curiosity on subtitles presented.

Story : full hopes of exhilarating action scene. Pact with thriller storyline in light speed.

Attraction scene: adorable with a tinge of sweetness. Feels like taking a leap of faith. Hasty but neat.

Music: curated suitably.

Sae Bom our heroin is fast thinking and sometimes people find her action seemed reckless. Then again, how else would you be when facing the inevitable terror. She’s scores the highest assessment, then she must be doing well with her job as Senior Officer of anti-terrorism squad. She is the perfect avenger to fought the dreadful mayhem. Her human compass works divinely well and she will jump to saves lives. Protects will her almighty.
Yi Hyun is charming, adorable and clever. He is hopelessly attracted with Sae Bom. Although pretty good in keeping his calm and composure. Would for sure keep her save. Would for sure keep her by his side. Just like how they held each other hands with the optimist trust, is how we should get addicted with this drama 😃

There’s a lot to learn from this drama and how it relates with the world as we knows it now. That is why it is perfect.

This definitely one of the best drama in 2021.

Radiant with elegance

When watching saeguk, has I mention in my similar review with this genre, very important to get hooked at the first episode. And this drama intriguing since the start. A wonderful overture.

Music score is beautifully weaved in each scene as dialogue fluently acted. The actors : child and adult, both deliver fantastic rendition of storyline. You can sense joy, heartbreak, tears and sorrow so intense.
This drama is a fairytale which crosses the boundaries of courtship.

Production this flawless makes you looking forward each episodes with excitements. It is fresh and breezy. Delightful almost like something new but old.

Have faith in God of Writing

I’ve read the ongoing webtoon so far at chapter 135 and with high hopes for the best on Suho. In which he must find himself consolation if not through Joo Gyung.

Seojun has his time and luck. All this kid did was just following instructions from his dearest BFF...

Back to the live version drama. I just likes it a lot on this version re-telling the story. I still wish it’ll be different here and there. Like those Disney’s book choose-your-own-adventure. The live version should be bold with imagination and deliver other ventures and possibilities. Best way to summarize it, for the love of God Please bring joy and happiness for lonely boy Suho.

We’re at ep 4, and already two of my dear friends decidedly Joo Gyung end up with Seo Jun. It’s fair to opinionated, I’ve guess. But I wish they follow the episode with thoughtfulness first and stop being affirmative.
Thus far, Suho has done nothing but spoken truth and accepted wholeheartedly for Joo Gyung as who she is, not what she is. He even got himself in a fight uselessly for trying to help out. Pufft, it’s dreadful to follow this current plot. Why must make him soak in the rain and bruises his lips without being able to scream out love.

Music score, kind of a let down. With a cast this solid, at least they can bring us soundtracks that could levitate the drama’s mood. Even the so called Joo Gyung favorite alternative band is not showing properly. If she is a Linkin Park girl, so Please just give her that.

The ride is not yet over until then I’m keeping a close eyes on this. Since it’s my favorite.

Bad Romeo, NOT Bad at all

This my first dedicated watching Thai drama. And it was a good investment indeed.

So the leads acting is what attracted my full attention to the story of this drama. It was a gamble since title-wise nothing about Romeo would end beautifully. So why not. I am in the process of withdrawing from other spectacular title which kept failing to happened. However this Thai drama is actually exciting.

It is the acting which felt strong and different. The chemistry undoubtedly amazing. Love-hate theme is always an interesting drama relationship. And if done correctly, could create an addiction.

So this one, I’ve watched on Netflix. The whole 17 episode with a good bowl of popcorn and coke. As episode 1 kicks in, it was like hang in there and let’s try to be curious. Then it went topsy turvy speed and really draws in attention.
It baffled me, how bold and pretty dark the story went. Then you just got more curious with the next episode as it unfolded more emotions and more secrets.

The leads acting is special, I think. Both deliver this excellent performance. They are very natural with their skinship and dialogue. Nothing awkward which is splendid.
My criticism would directly goes to the BGM or Music score, not that it spoil the scenes or anything. Just that something deep and dramatically orchestrated would be nicer.
I loves all her (Kimh) dresses and style. Everyone in this drama styled by their character very on point.
Very looking forward of checking Mario and Yaya other titled production.
