Im at episode 30 and i feel sorry for him too. What he did was wrong but at a certain point i thought her reaction was too much. He still continued to protect her. Wang Chu ran s good at playing cold character.
So im at episode 24 and i finally understand why this is rated 8.5😅. In terms of romance it has what im looking for ( sweets moments, angst, kisses) . The plot is well written and interesting enough. The only weird part is when they change the emperor.

I watched WCR in the longuest promise i didn't really like her acting. She is pretty but she give me this cold and distant impression. In this drama, i feel like she broke up the wall. I was surprised by her chemistry with Zhang Wanyi.
I wish the styling was different for the ML, he looks nearly identical to how he looked as Cang Xuan so it's hard…
Haha i fully understand. I had to watch other dramas after LYF2. Before starting this one. Take you time. I can tell you that this drama is satisfying in terms of romance because ML and FL have lots of sweet moments
