I love the costumes. So stylish! Too bad they minimize the romance of the ML and FL because they look very sweet even with the age gap. When I watch Ryan Ren i just cant help thinking of Wang Yibo 😳 i like the casting but Situ looks too young for a doctor and i think Jjin Jing Xue should be for a younger actress. Vengo Gao is the best chinese actor to play a vampire.

I know what you mean. He plays a king or a prince perfectly. I modern, he looks more like an ordinary guy. But with the right styling, i believe he can play a CEO of a company or attorney etc.

The story with XL was indeed heartbreaking. But if the dream sequence with CX did happen , I would be devastated. There special bond would be destroy forever. So because they downplayed all of CX villainous actions, the angst is not what i expected.

I agree. The story was still decent but I guess it could have been more angsty and more memorable scenes. I think they just went for something really safe.
