Chinese directors need to realize not everytime sad ending = memorable ending
I noticed that chineese directors tend to do less sad ending than before. Ive watch a lot of dramas from the 80 90's and most of the time it was sad. But i agree with you, happy or funny endings can be memorable too.

I was skeptical as why everyone didn't like the ending. Often people give a bad rating because the ending is sad. Goodbye my princess was sad ending but memorable. But after finishing Snowfall, i have to agree that the ending is not good. Not because its sad but because its rushed and incomplete. It can definitely have a second season.
he is rapist in novel, director want to give him redepmtion arc in drama but i think he failed, people hate the…
The director seems to like grey characters. Every dramas ive watch from him( goodby my princess, Heroes, snowfall) there's one but the only well written is the ML in goodbye my princess.
I know but usually a doctor that practice surgery graduate when they are nearly 30 or more. Situ looks more like 20. But for a fantastic drama i guess its fine.
The fight scene between Mi Lan and Jin Jing Xue was so dawm funny! If I was her i would also fight for my man. 🤣 Whoah! The passionate scene between Jing Xue and Li Ying Liang is hot. Too bad they cant show more but better than most love scenes in chineese drama. Ryan Ren is sstarting to impress me with his acting especiallhis scene in the prison. He looks so much like Wang Yibo but he play the type of roles that i dont think Yibo would.
