Yess i hope the romance is satisfying

Im trying to figure out what you mean by rough...ive seen her in Lighter and Princess and Fall in love, she was fine. Shes not my favorite choice to pair up with XZ but I almost prefer Zhang jinyi than Wang Churan. I find her a bit cold.

Im at half the drama and I must say that Cheng Lei and Tian Jiarui really stole the show. I really like their bond. Tian Jiarui is definitely the next big star. As for Zhang Ling He, I don't understand the hype about him yet. I have to watch Kunning palace since i heard his acting is good. I really like cinematographyand costumes of this drama but its really slow. Too much talking.

Chenzhe yuan is boyish looking but not effiminate. He can also be masculine when he needs to for example if he does action scenes.

Im at episode 3 and i find it interesting. The vibe, background music and costumes are very different from other dramas. I just wish the subs was slower

I dont usually watch campus or first love story but i did enjoyed this one. It made me a bit nostalgic about that time of my life. The romance is cute but nothing racy or sexy. Still the kiss scenes are well done and natural. Some other modern romance dramas are even more conservative

I saw some leaked videos of the two leads kissing and it looks like the kisses are pretty passionate. 😘

So i finished this drama and didn't think i would like it that much at first. I don't watch a lot of modern romance dramas but this one i enjoyed. The chemistry is very natural and their story is very cute. Chen zhe yuan is so adorable here. He proves again he's a talented actor. And now im very curious to see the Winner is king and looking forward for his future projects.

I think the look and acting of the leads is an important factor to the sucess of this drama. If you don't really like the ML, you won't feel compell to watch it. About the age gap, i agree with you that 5 years its not a big age gap. But then i recall when i was 17 or 18, 5 years older than me seems to be old 😅. I guess it depends at what age they met.
