I understand your point. I also feel like its a waste of his talent to play only in ultra nationalistic roles. I think he is great in costumes dramas. From the projects he choose recently, he seems to avoid romantic roles. That's too bad but thats his choices.

I agree with previous posts. There is definitely some suggestive romance here. Not for you then. But oh no here comes trouble is very touching without romance

I find that nowadays most dramas has happy endings. Sometimes its even feels like if the writters are trying to hard to please the audience. In older dramas, i remember there were a lot more sad endings. Back then, there was no social media so people could not complaint. In this specific drama, because of the comedy and cute interactions between the characters during the whole drama, i just didn't expect such an ending .

He didn't do anything criminal so he doesn't deserve to be cancelled. Hopefully he can still continue to act in china but he must be low profile for a while. Otherwhise, i think he has the look and talent to be a star in western country but he must learn english.

There's not many C drama with a rating of 9.0. I only know a few like Joy of life, untamed for example. So i have great expectations for this one too.

Wow the rating is so high for this. I usually prefer some romance in a drama so didn't start this one yet but very curious to know why its rated so high.

I didn't particularly like Yang zi but i had to admit that she did very well in Lost you Forever. Zhang Wanyi is superb in that too.

Ive been hoping for a drama with liu yuning with good romance and kisses. Finally, im very satisfied with this role ☺️. Im looking foward for Prisoner of beauty.

Just want yo say that Liu Yuning and Liu shi shi looks so good as a couple onscreen. I cant get over their visual. Love every scenes with them.

The synopsis seems tropey but the trailer doesn't look cringy at all.

I saw that rumor only once. Lets wait and see if its true. Im craving for a sweet romance for Zhang wan yi after Lost you forever.

Only 3 episodes in and im impress with the quality of this drama. Its my first time watching Liu shi shi and i understand now the hype about her. She has a classic type of beauty and her fighting scenes are amazing. Liu yuning has so much presence onscreen. Im so happy to see him as ML. I hope the story will continue to be good. As for now, its intriguing.

I know exactly what you mean. But for me I kind of like his smile the most.
