It was fast paced story with slow burn romance. Unique I know but it is as it is.
The first part was completely about xu yuan and his jinx thing, and the 2nnd part starts with zhan wang's story. It was well balanced.
now finally his illness is answered which everyone was eager to see and now when its finally here and they are trying to not make it as bad or sad as it should be by adding fictional touch of romance, people complaining. Who will watch 2 episodes of Zhan wang lying dead on hospital bed? there has to be something at least, and we all know he never takes his illness serious ever. And for xu yuan, what can he do when he loves this guy and finally feel he's okay, he will definitely be happy and let him do what he wants.
Plus they both are 18 yr old kids, so try to understand, don't always run for logic in a sweet story. I am loving whatever type of mess they are giving haha coz its not heartbreaking to watch atleast, we get perfect balance of everything

The comments here aree going negative for no reason, coz the series is fast paced already, and If they have problem with side couples then just skip them like we are doing. But the main couple here are literally carrying the show, overshadowing their story just coz of some scenes is stupid.
This is one of the best ongoing cbls for me rn, Like iit has something which none of the series rn have.
The acting of main actors is really impressive; there's no cringe scene of them other than them being too adorable and sweet. The ratings here itself is the proof that this deserves hype, but because of some negative people who can't even understand the writing of the story yet, people skip this.

The NC scenes are not even that much as normal dramas, and not even as erotic as others. They are well balanced its just that the main couple have really short time left together thats why they are trying to do everything while they can, like even in hospital bed lol
the reason zhan wang refuses treatment even after promising xu yuan, is because he thinks he knows himself very well, he knows he won't live, he knows if he go for surgery he will never be able to spend his last breath with xu yuan, he dont want to die in an unpleasant weak state, he wants to die peacefully in xu yuan's arms. And promising xu yuan is only for him to not worry about him anymore, and stay happy in the last moments they have.. So idk why is that even a question here?

Because Xu Yuan name means "Wish" Zhan Wang means "to look forward to the future"
Zhan Wang who has terminal brain cancer, meaning he is a boy with "no future" and nothing to "look forward to" He is literally counting down his final days ......
So the plot is; "Xu yuan falls in love with the boy who desperately needs a miracle for his future that is Zhan Wang." But the actual Plot of this show is; "Xu Yuan will try to "make a wish" to change fate and save Zhan Wang's future, defying the town's belief that he is a curse!!!!!" He will not be a curse anymore, his life along with Zhan wang will have a happy ending 😭
Also there is such scene in the trailer of this series, where we can see both of them with a shooting star in the sky... And idk if its related but let me add, that in the schedule poster there are 2 signs on Ep9 a star🌟 and a 🌛 ??? which might be the tattoos of Xu yuan and Zhan wang for each other but also this holds a shooting star meaning maybe! And also in EP10 EP11 there's also a shooting star kinda emoji
