IKR This was sooo good, and I think yes they left the ending open just in case if it got much hype it'll have a s2 or sequel, but sadly the hype never went up, people only talking about endlng calling it worse everywhere as if the complete series was bad..
Everyone dropping the rating just because they are too stupid to understand this open ending. nothing needs an ending, sometimes living hope for s new season or a sequel requires open endings as well. If they really ended it with the comet fall and they die, it would be worst and sad, if the showed us something magical it would also be stupid, they gave us the chance to come up with our ideas for the ending, I already did and its a wonderful ending for me.
