This wasn’t perfect, but it was damn near it. I enjoyed this a lot~ what a breath of fresh air!
- Edit (Nov 10, 2021), this is definitely a drama that's best viewed by beginners and/or as a first time watch. I am attempting to rewatch this and it feels extremely weird now.
skip ,not fan of zhao zanilia, princess agent was terrible shock ,her character was so stupid ,hated her so much..but…
Thank you for your views. TOTALLY a fan of Zanilia Zhao. I have not watched Princess Agents because I never watch a drama without waiting until the end, researching about it and considering the ending.
HOWEVER, I have watched her dramas Rookie Agent Rouge, Cuo Dian Yuan Yang, Boss and Me, The Journey of Flower, & The Mystic Nine. I have also watched her movies The Rise of a Tomboy, Duckweed, & The Monkey King 3.
I have watched her play various sorts of characters with very different personalities and complexities. I have seen her play an innocent little female in Boss and Me, I have seen her play a badass spy in Rookie Agent Rouge, I have seen her play an intellectual in The Rise of a Tomboy, I have seen her play it all & thus have full faith in myself when I say that she is a wonderfully versatile actress.
Since I have not watched PA, I sure cannot judge your assessment on the character as that has nothing to do with Zanilia but the directors, the novelist, and the writer of the drama.
Considering the fact that it will probably revolve around the same story line and thus will have EVERY SINGLE ANGSTY THING IN DRAMA LAND.... I am very weary of this.
The plot to this looks heavy. But that’s nothing I can not handle after ‘Battle of Changsha’ so that’s fine.
What somewhat upsets me, though, is the ridiculously obvious age difference between the female lead and the male lead.
The Male lead is almost 20 years older than the female lead. That’s no biggie because the girl is almost 28 years old. The problem here lies in the fact that she looks 18 and he looks 55.
Not saying that has to be an issue too~ not for anyone else~ but personally... I hope it doesn’t turn me off of the plot because he is just very mature looking. And I don’t mean it in the appealing way.

Good luck with your drama viewing experience <3
Ignore this. I got this wrong!

However, I cannot and will not include any drama that I have not watched in a Recommendation article.
This is purely because I can not recommend a drama that I have no time watched. Thank you for your comment, regardless :)
I changed it after I watched it
