Is it happy ending? What happened Pikul? I need spoiler. I am going to watch according to answers :P
1. It’s a happy ending. 2. There are 3 timelines. The ML loves Pikul in all three timelines. (Unlike the other versions, such had two timelines and the ML didn’t love the FL in he second timeline but only sacrificed himself out of pity) 3. Pikul rebirths. In fact so does then ML. They have a happy ending in the third timeline which is set in Morden day today.
The third timeline is short. Very short. But it’s a happy closure. Unlike the other versions.

Yes, he loved Yan Zhi. Yan Zhi never knew of his feelings so she did not reciprocate it in that extent, however she did feel close to him I guess cause he was her mentor. But Song Mian definitely loved Yan Zhi. He married his 'girlfriend' because of duty and promise. Even his 'girlfriend' said so to Yan Zhi :)
Finally mustered enough courage to watch this. All I have to say is "& that is why ladies and gentlemen, you do not break the girl/bro code!" Especially if your 'best friend' has narcissistic personality disorder.
Also, wow Louis is so good-looking O_O I know this won't happen but can someone give him and Bella leading roles together?
Honestly, although the story was crazy and so were the characters. If you are able to not take it to heart then this show will be very entertaining. It's very realistic and raw.
The only let down for me was the angle where both Bua's character liked Louis' character and the whole love triangle with Bella's character. I thought it was really unnecessary to make Bua's character like him or him like Bella if he was supposed to be with Bua's character. That was a mess.
The only other thing that was a mess was how Bella and the ML's characters ended up. Honestly, I wish they remained the way they were.
But man... Janie... her character... that climax... oh man. I’m speechless. 8/10
Someone needs to make a remake of this drama with more episodes. Honestly I felt 4 episodes were too little for this plot and the drama came off as very choppy in some places: I wish they took care of this one’s plot substance like they did with ‘Right or Wrong’, ‘Stay Away from Me’, and ‘Crossing Boundary’
I wish this could have gotten the proper continuation/sequel it deserved. 9.5/10 . I’ve never seen a pair with more realistic chemistry than these two :) Minus .5 for the abrupt ending.
In my opinion, this was an absolutely stupid movie that showcased all the wrong ways to handle the situation presented…
1. Gump finds Sunz hot, okay that’s fine. Being in love with someone doesn’t mean you’re automatically going to find other people unappealing and disgusting to look at. Finding people hot is normal. Still, he didn’t act on his initial attraction and instead works on helping Sunz get over his ex.
2. Nai who is giving his high school best friend a lot of attention, and hasn’t been able to admit what relation he and Gump has, cheats on Gump by kissing his best friend. (It was a semi make out )
I’ll like to put this here more clearly:
Nai cheats on Gump.
3. Then Gump and Nai’s friends behave as if Nai hasn’t done anything wrong and tries to emotionally blackmail Gump by scaring him that Nai is going to leave him and go to HK. I mean come on, let the guy live! He just got cheated on !!
4. Nai and their friends INCLUDING SUNZ also go ahead and plan an outrageously stupid plan where Nai has to pretend to die in front of Gump! This plan is to be executed at Sunz’s aunt’s birthday party.
Now, not only do they ruin someone’s birthday party! They also psychologically ruin Gump by that stupid shot and dead track! This is absolutely stupid.
Do not forgive your cheating partners so easily kids! And for your friends who take your partner’s side more than sympathise with you — dump their asses!

P.S. since I’ve said so many negative things about this movie, I’ll give a scene I liked: the salon scene where Nai sneaks in and acts like a hairdresser and kisses Gumps forehead while washing his hair.
