Just finished ep 1. oh it’s cringe on every level. ZYT and GJ is cutee. Its like they don’t even age. Gonna try few more episodes tho. Hope its as good as the clips I saw on Tiktok
Why are Jutathip's family afraid of wilairampa? What did she do to them?
They are not afraid of her. Its more of searching for her because of 20 years unresolved issues and wanting to confront her for the letters that she sent to Grandma Orn.
For people who have read the book, did Fah mom's really just left when her husband was dying and her daughter…
Yeah I wonder why Jaiphisut has 17 episodes when the story could have finished in 10 episodes. Why not give Dujupsorn more episodes as this is about Wilairumpa, the most dramatic plot of all.
the male lead- Petch, has flaws and sometimes contradict his image but doesn’t that make him a dimensional character?…
I completely agree with your assessment of Petch as a layered character with flaws and contradictions. Despite being the "perfect" son, his struggles with insecurities and jealousy actually make him more relatable and well, human. Its realistic, Petch isn't just "perfect" or "heroic" but rather someone who has to work through his issues just like everyone else.
I like the Juthathep family because they consistently portray family values above all. When Petch said, "she's just a women, our family is more important". There, shows a well-developed character who remains true to his core. Although, we know, the response stem from anger and jealousy 😂
I also agree with this "these 5 monkeys like women that challenge them emotionally and physically". Petch and Fah are both two strong-willed individuals, and the fact that both won’t easily back down from their egos makes the tension more intense!
Although, during the scene at the lake, I wish Petch would not "force" Fah to make a confession, because for me, - you say it best, when you say nothing at all. I would have wished for him to silently stay beside Fah and support her decision instead of boasting "If you just say that you love me, I would take care of everything". Then again, my version of Petch is rather bias because of my favoritism towards Fah and will not be consistent with his traditional masculinity and leadership qualities.
I must say both Fan and Petch are well written character and Mint and Peak has done a good job. Lets hope they dont screw the ending.
the inconsistency in Petch's character is frustrating me to no end. regardless of that, i have some thoughts on…
Do you think that the inconsistency of his character because of the drama setting that was based in the 90s? Because, back then, ML often display grand gestures and assertive pursuit towards FL but at the same time, huge ego. Meanwhile nowadays, ML is more emotionally intelligence, often depicted as Green Flag. Need to check if his character is the same as in the novel.
anyway, its just something that I've been thinking about. lol
