Not a drama for weak people who cannot handle strong emotions and must always have happy happy romcom escapism…
I agree about the part that this is not a drama for weak people. I personally love happy happy romcom escapism and fluffy unicorn disney characters without flaws - consider it as an escape from reality, BUT, this drama is a drama done right. Its so deep, so thought provoking, grade A drama. A standing ovation from me, but will I watch it again? Maybe not anytime soon. But i'm glad I watch a quality drama like this this year. This year has been a fantastic year for modern cdrama.

in the novel, there is one character (I think it was an intern) who are interested in Wen Yifan and he is potrayed to be quite handsome, younger and works with Wen Yifan a lot, but I cant remember his name. Haha
