I'm fairly new to cdrama. Around 1 year+, I remembered few months ago, I clicked on The Long Ballad and dropped it at ep 1. Its too long, I thought to myself. Now, I after a fair share of cdrama (both modern and historical), I find myself at The Long Ballad again, clicked resume on Netflix and now at ep 39. I dont want this to end! Give me 100 eps for all I care. I dont want to part from Sun and Changge.

Have you watch Kwanruetai ep 12. Petch and Jak appeared almost at the end scene. Petch presence is so “Khun Chai” (I dont know any words that could describe this feeling), I had to rewind and watch his walk in slow motion. lol

I agree about the part that this is not a drama for weak people. I personally love happy happy romcom escapism and fluffy unicorn disney characters without flaws - consider it as an escape from reality, BUT, this drama is a drama done right. Its so deep, so thought provoking, grade A drama. A standing ovation from me, but will I watch it again? Maybe not anytime soon. But i'm glad I watch a quality drama like this this year. This year has been a fantastic year for modern cdrama.

in the novel, there is one character (I think it was an intern) who are interested in Wen Yifan and he is potrayed to be quite handsome, younger and works with Wen Yifan a lot, but I cant remember his name. Haha

I love the cinematography but the palette bothers me sometimes too. haha I get that they wanted to potrayed warmth and coziness but all I’m feeling is dusk time 😅

yeah I’m hesitating to watch ep 15&16 because our FL went from independent and confident to insecure and complicated. I kinda dont want to see CMD get hurt 😢. I too love both ZYT and LX
