I'm upset that we didn't get a confession and a kiss (coz they did in the webtoon) but knowing how shy they are in the drama, I can understand why. I expected more from the drama but it's good overall. It was mostly saved by Yeoreum and Daebum's innocent romance. I need more fluffy romance and less angst.

They weren't actually in a relationship in the webtoon (they were never official) but they liked each other while DB and YR did end up together and even kissed in the webtoon.

I get what you mean. I’m waiting for them to open up to each other too. We already saw them texting in ep 9 so maybe they’ll talk about that when they’re ready. In the webtoon, I think they did when the dust has settled. I’m not sure if they’ll show it in the drama tho.

There is romance, but just the wholesome kind. But if you're waiting for a kiss or a confession you might have to wait a little longer coz in the webtoon they became official in the very last chapter.

Yes mental health should be given more attention and I think it also showed how domestic abuse is treated in small towns.

The original webtoon had thriller mystery too. Perhaps if the production added the thriller element to the trailer then maybe people wouldn't be disappointed like this.

I respect your opinion. But I also just talked about the good ratings of Tracer and the awards he received for Emergency Declaration. I can’t speak for Seolhyun tho since I’m not her fan. Btw I loved The King Loves and Tracer.

To be fair to Siwan, Tracer had good ratings plus he earned several best actor nominations, and he won acting awards for Emergency Declaration.

The chance is slim but it might still turn out to be pretty good coz of the romance. We still have 2 more episodes.

It’s because of Siwan’s portrayal of DB I think. He is very nice and warm but he doesn’t look weak. You see him doing nice things for others but he doesn’t seem miserable while doing it. He also showed character development by talking to Jiyoung and saying he wants to go back to Angok. Siwan just makes DB more believable than YR.

It always had a mystery/thriller tag on viki. It should have also been added here on MDL.

Daebum is actually more likeable in the drama than in the webtoon. We have to give credit to Siwan for that tho. But for YR, she was more likeable in the webtoon. So many scenes in the webtoon that made me fall in love with her character. But in the drama there is almost none. I’m loving the romance tho. It’s better than the webtoon.

I was actually on his side since ep 1. Tho it was rude for him to break up with her through text, he still showed up at her mom's funeral. He isn't that bad and he really had a point about Yeoreum's exhausting personality. He put up with her for 6 years lmao. Dude is actually nice, he just reached his breaking point.

Oh boy wait till you watch ep 10. But the mentally disabled guy isn't really a bad guy as I've seen from episode 11 trailer

Well, she didn't report the incident so it is partly her fault. Tho it's also grandma's fault. Grandma gave her bad advice about 'following her heart.' And she encouraged Deabum to go to Seoul so she feels responsible but yeah that one isn't her fault at all but the professor's and Jiyoung's.
