First blackout was good and funny...Second one is baddddddd, they need to stop this FL drinking and blackout scenes
Yeah. She’s clearly still not okay. Leaving the city and living a different life doesn’t magically make one’s sadness go away. I think that’s what the drama is trying to tell us.
“Did it at any point make you feel lost and confused?”Could you relay this question directly to those that…
Oof I’ve no time to look for them. And perhaps Yeoreum will talk about it more in the coming episodes. There were lots of flashbacks about her mom in the webtoon too. Anyway didn’t you already drop this drama? There are lots of good dramas these days I hope you’ve found good ones that suit your taste.

Other dramas do not reveal the cause of death of a parent, like Jang Geurae’s dad in the drama Misaeng. And that is one of the best Kdramas out there. I’m not saying Summer Strike is in the same league as Misaeng. It’s just that some writers/directors choose not to focus on the cause of death.
About Yeoreum’s mom though, it was implied that she worked nonstop. But in the webtoon she was actually hit by a car so maybe it’s the director’s choice to just imply that she was overworked to also influence Yeoreum’s decision to leave the city, to take a break.
I started it with my friend without checking mdl, I thought the rating would be above 9.0😅
I’ve read the webtoon too and finished it that’s why I’m fully invested in this drama. It’s about life but a different take, if you know what I mean. Yeah she did have depression in the webtoon and I hope the details of it will be shown eventually.

I think it’s a niche drama. Other people might even think what Yeoreum did doesn’t make sense. Especially because other dramas have been teaching us to never give up and keep going no matter how tough life gets. Then here’s Yeoreum who did the opposite. But if you’re a tired office worker or someone who needs a break in life, then you might enjoy this one.
I don't really understand why everyone is so rude😅.. Are people really that rude to strangers????🤷♀️
People don’t normally move from the big city to the countryside especially if they don’t have family there. The people of Angok probably think she did something bad.
I love that the drama started in spring coz it means rebirth and it's the start of a new beginning for Yeoreum. Also the director using a plastic bag to symbolize 'letting go' of her burdens. Also, the episode 2 title written on the sand and then the water erasing it, it was like she was starting a clean slate.
Most people can enjoy a drama without tearing it apart, just enjoy it as a whole. Was there anything offensive? History distortion? Racism? Did it at any point make you feel lost and confused? No, right? I think ep 1 & 2 are pretty good. It's a youth drama, stop comparing it to mature melodramas.
She has always been abused at work, so that happens almost every day in her world. Then her boyfriend breaks up with her because she always whined about it on their dates. Then suddenly her mom dies in an accident. I don't think it's far-fetched but maybe if the storytelling was better then the audience will have a deeper understanding of Yeoreum's situation. I hope Siwan will get more screen time because I swear he can save this drama for a lot of people.
I thought It's a TV drama, why did they released both episodes today...Kim seol Hyun looks different..
It's an ott drama but will be broadcasted on ena. Genie tv will release 2 episodes every Friday so the 1st 2 episodes were already released last Nov 18
