Yes that scandal, and the director was rumored to be have another affair with the actress who played the b*tch queen's maid. That's why the producer cut all her scene. Honest the production of this drama is kind of a mess, but the actors/actress carried it hard.

Yeah, this drama gave us a lot of good characters.

Because of the damning message from the producer on its premiere day, we should all expect some uneven in the quality of the drama. Just compare the two fight scene between BFX and HC, one in the beginning and one in the ending. It would take literally miracle to have a great drama with both of its director and writer quitted in the middle of the production. However, this drama turned out to be okay and I'm satisfied with it, especially toward our leads 😍😍 Love them. I think the drama originally supposed to be longer, but since the director and the writer quitted, the producer want to wrap everything up as fast as possible. There would be a lot of storylines after HFX being kicked out of his country, but they all get cut.

Since drama did so many detours but still followed the novel, I will assumed HFX will get cured as well. Better than the ending of The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion at least, both have happy ending in the novel, but the drama decided to be openly vague about it. 🤔🤔

P/S: Don't you just love it when your boss sent you on a business trip on the same day of the finale of your favorite drama. 🙄
