My main gripe with the movie is, the movie wastes a lot of time. I mean condensing a 19 volume (let's be honest more cause tsubasa) manga into a movie is hard. but while watching the movie you will feel like they waste a lot if time in unnecessary scenes or characters. The screenplay really is a mess. the acting of the villains were amateurish at best. I could have forgiven the movie for all of it had the soul of the characters been there. They just weren't.

As a Kamiki Fan I Looove the visuals. As a xxxHolic fan I have so many gripes with this movie. Like why make Watanuki so dull. Why can't he eat his own cooking. There is a literal episode in xxxHolic where Watanuki explains to a woman why she should eat her own cooking. Also why did he not cough when he took his first swig?
(I know I am ranting. and seemingly about minute details.)
