Japan did magic here. They've hit the lottery with this one. This is the Best BL, I've ever set my eyes on. From the screenwriters, cast, directors, executive producers and everyone else involved in this masterpiece, you have done amazing.
With Japanese BL, it's always about the plot. Look how we have been invested since the 1st episode, we'll get to see them kiss in the finale. And, it feels like a reward, even if they didn't there is so much to learn from this.
