This is a great drama if you only watch Mik and Pooklook XD The rest is so random and cliched, I can name at least five different dramas with aspects of the plot in this one
Liking this so far! Mik and Pooklook’s chemistry is off the charts lol I’m literally spazzing just by seeing…
I completely agree, AWESOME chemistry, awesome love story. The only problem is the rest of the drama XD Too many useless side characters, useless side plots, extremely predictable storylines... I figured out that Nackarin was the girl's brother by episode 2 XD And then sudden forgiveness at the end was nothing short of cringey. But if you only watch the parts with Mik and Pooklook, then it's a great drama!
@Alina Negoescu The one on youtube is stolen from the original subbers. Many subbers have stopped subbing their projects because their work keeps getting stolen. Please watch at the original subber's site, they deserve that much and more after all the hours they put in subbing dramas :)
Finally done!!! The 1st ep was SO promising in terms of romance but my expectations came crashing by the 2nd ep.…
I got SO frustrated with Irene. She was always "Let me go on this dangerous mission with you" and I was wondering what in the heck she expected to do, she can't even shoot a gun!!! Mik and Steph do have good chemistry though.
Yeah, I don't get his story either. Can someone who understands please enlighten us?
They weren't even going to include Date's brother (Sri Prat) originally. But the author decided she wanted him in the drama. From my understanding, Sri Prat is a controversial character and figure. He was a famous poet who eventually got kicked out of Ayutthaya for having an affair with the wife of a general, among other things. Apparently he wasn't really a "kon di" (good person). Now he's even more controversial as a figure because historians are starting to doubt whether the poems they attributed to him are actually his. If they aren't, that would greatly undermine his significance. So I think what they were trying to portray in BPS was a prodigal son returning home right before his father's death after getting kicked out for his bad deeds. But of course he couldn't stick around, because he was banned.
This drama really wasn't my cup of tea-- Pope and Namtarn were kinda a weird pairing to begin with, and then the drama was funny, but it sacrificed actual plot development because they were trying so hard to be funny. The jokes got repetitive after a while, so even that quality got lost. I mean, it wasn't terrible, but definitely not above average. It's cute and lighthearted and you skip through the draggy parts.
Is it just me who’s not getting into it? I just finished the first episode and the only thing I heard form the…
IT DOES! Trust me. The first time I watched it, I wasn't even interested until episode 3, and I didn't get invested until episode 5. Just give it a little bit, it finds its footing later :)
I've been on the hunt for similar lakorns with complicated, broken characters so if you have any recommendations…
I know I'm late to this, but if you're still looking I'd recommend Cheewit Puer Kah Huajai Puer Tur (channel one). The characters in it are very broken, very complex.

He does have good character development though :P
