Haha just started watching and mat I just say, the makers of Eternal Love are prime examples of knowing their element and working their element to perfection! In this case, their element is main couple's relationship and creating fun dramas that don't take themselves too seriously. Normally I don't like sequels, but this one is a delight to watch!
I'm 100% on board with Harry Potter as a CDrama. The only question is: would it be the same without the British accents?? The British accents really make it for me (I'm from the US).
I was shocked to know that he's rich even before Bhuppaesanniwat. The luxuxry cars he owns, Porsche, Aston Martin..…
Pope was an established actor years before BPS came out. His drama Samee Tee Tra (2014) with Ploy Cherman was a big hit, while Khun Chai Pawornruj (2013) and Ruk Ok Rit (2015) did very well too. BPS was the one that *really* solidified his role as a leading man.
Really???I really tired watch lakorn because they always have jerk role. Thai have many good actor, good drama…
If you want lakorns without jerk MLs, I could recommend you a few. I hate jerk MLs/evil second leads too. One off the top of my head is Bunlang Dok Mai. The ML is a brat at first, but he wasn't a jerk. There's also no nang rai. Karn La Krang Neung Nai Hua Jai is another good one with a nice ML and no nang rai, though it's more intense.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this way. NY are good on screen, but I fear they (especially Yaya)…
I never said they didn't have chemistry together-- they definitely do. But I think it's important that actors learn to have chemistry with people they AREN'T dating in real life. Yaya has been paired with Nadech so many times, she hasn't had many opportunities to work with other actors.
This was so accurate Review. It's not so bad but really feels Overrated.
I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt since I really don't like revenge lakorns. This one was a chore to get through. I spent each episode wondering why I was still watching it lol
Y’all I really need another one to watch which is like this! A lakorn when both the leads look FIRE and the…
I'd recommend Cheewit Puer Kah Huajai Puer Ter-- awesome leads, fantastic story, fantastic acting, and so many twists and turns you'll barely be able to keep up!
WOW just found out today that this is happening and I'm so stoked for this cast! I've only seen Dilraba in as Bai Feng Jiu, so it'll be interesting to see her play a (very) different character! Also Yang Yang.....
I know this is an unpopular opinion but please respect that this is just my personal opinion: Yaya needs to stop…
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this way. NY are good on screen, but I fear they (especially Yaya) haven't gotten to experience the growth that comes from working with different actors. I feel like Yaya sometimes struggles to have chemistry with anyone who isn't Nadech because she hasn't had many chances to learn. She and Mark only had chemistry because Mark has chemistry with everyone, at least in the lakorns I've seen.
Sud Sai Pan: The second lakorn I watched after Full House Thai. I had no intention of watching Thai dramas consistently after Full House-- I figured it was a one-and-done watch. Then I ran across Sud Sai Pan by chance on youtube and I got hooked. I'm sorry to say that it was Sud Sai Pan, NOT Full House, that got me hooked on lakorns to this day. It's SO BAD. Psychotic SFL, long-lost identical twins, weak FL who cries in literally every scene, jerk ML (love you Toomtam <3), crazy killing spree throughout the drama... this show plays into literally every single lakorn stereotype EVER. I must admit, though, that I watched it not once, but three times. There's something so addictive about how bad it is XD
Totally agree with you on Kpop: The Ultimate Audition. What a throwback! I remember even as a young teen I knew it was bad, but I couldn't stop watching.
Another one I'd mention is the Chinese Meteor Garden. It has a lot going for it, but there are SO many extremely obvious product placements, the plot is downright ludicrous, and it gives you the WORST case of SLS. I binged it in a week. All 50 episodes. I'll probably watch it again. Sometimes the ones with insane plotlines are the most addictive. Plus Dylan makes it all worth it <3
Tae Pang Korn had everything going for it except that second lifetime... it got so boring and laggy I remember watching setting it aside and watching a different drama until I could bring myself to power through.
Thanks for making this list! Glad you included Padiwarada among the others. I feel like that one is seriously underrated.
Just here to say that this drama is one of my FAVORITES of all time-- and that's saying something, considering how many I've watched. I've watched this one upwards of 5 or 6 times since I first saw it. I don't typically re-watch lakorns unless I absolutely loved them. I LOVE the portrayal of Saran and Rin's romance. They first develop trust and respect for one another, then they fall in love. Their love is so believable and honestly a lot more realistic than just about every other lakorn. Chalat is my favorite character. He's so pure :) His dimples get me every time I watch 555
This is actually the first lakorn that i've watched the chemistry was there but jeez the fake kisses makes me…
Oof, please don't let this disaster tarnish your view on lakorns. They're not all this bad. You can try Bhuppae Sanniwat or My Husband-in-Law if you want to see a good one. For a really good remake, you can watch Full House Thai.
