Title Forever Love Spoiler
Alright I did NOT expect to love Chen Yo Chuan so much by the end. I love his character!

He and the FL's friend were cute together, but I really couldn't tell what either of them saw in each other. It made the romance hard to believe. Part of me still wishes she had ended up with Duan.

I loved the beginning and middle, then the end got a little too trope-y for me. I think part of it was the blatant lack of programming/hacking knowledge on the writers' part. As a software engineer myself, all the company problems and such made me laugh out loud because they obviously had no idea what they're talking about XD Trust me, you wouldn't have to stop a wedding because of a bug in your software. A bug would take at least a week to track down.

Overall, a very refreshing and cute drama. The leads have very natural chemistry, especially considering how young they were. No awkward stiffness or anything. I loved both of the leads' characters. Highly recommend!

On episode 22. I LOVE the ML. I love that he's so normal. Sometimes he's dumb, he's good-looking enough but not drop-dead gorgeous (I'm sure that was on purpose), but he's still such a good person that you root for him. I feel like both of the leads are very normal for Cdrama characters.

As a computer programmer myself, I am planning to watch this just to roast their portrayal of programming. Should be good fun.

I nearly busted my side when Love O2O showed the FL going *clack clack* on her keyboard, then saying she'd written a program to do her job for her. He he... he... if only it were that easy.

I mostly watch lakorns/Chinese dramas (if you're looking for quirky, try a (good) lakorn sometime. They're definitely quirky). My favorite quirky lakorn is Pin Anong. It's so soap-y in so many ways, but the quirkiness of all of the characters makes it work somehow.
My favorite quirky Chinese drama is The Eternal Love. It's low-budget and sometimes cringey, but it still works because no one in the drama takes themselves too seriously.

I have seen many an infuriating drama in my time, but I think the two that take the cake for me were Find Yourself (China), Ruk Tong Oom (Thailand), and Kluen Cheewit (Thailand).
The FL in Find Yourself actually made me throw my pillow at the wall in frustration a few times. Everything dragged on FOREVER and she was SO STUPID the whole time! I had to immediately watch a different drama to get over it.
Ruk Tong Oom was really good until it discarded its entire plot in favor of literally every drama trope that has ever or will ever exist. I wrote a scathing review about it on here, but nothing seems to heal that particular wound.
Kluen Cheewit was a good crack drama-- I mostly got sick of it after literally EVERYONE said "go watch KC, it's my favorite lakorn ever" because there were some serious issues with that drama that should not have been romanticized. The ML was downright abusive to the FL the ENTIRE drama. Also, it was a little sketchy on whether he had the FL's real consent when they had sex... I just don't think these types of things should be romanticized.

Ep 12 and OMG she's about to give up all her wealth (are we in a fking fairytale right now?) for the self-centered…
I didn't see it as her giving up her wealth for a man, more as her offering to give it up for her family. But then Drama confirms to the viewer that Saran is the one who needs to change in the situation, not Rin, which is what ends up happening.

Watched this one a few years ago and it's one of the few I keep coming back to.

Sweet drama, good values, believable romance, feel-good vibes, FL who doesn't take the ML's crap, ML who actually experiences character development... this one's got it all.

I agree with the assessments for the ones I have watched on this list.

I recommend Pin Anong as a (pretty) good slap-kiss. The plot's kinda out-there and it gets really draggy in the middle and towards the end, but the leads are so cute together you just overlook those flaws. I also found the plot engaging, even if I had to skip through the boring parts. Well-acted and a fun watch.

Title Kleun Cheewit Spoiler
Maybe I'm the only one who had some issues with this. The production value is really good as well as the writing, directing, and chemistry (especially for a Thai drama). However, I just didn't like Thit. At all. I couldn't root for him. He was horrible to Jee throughout the entire drama. The scene where they have sex is pretty sketchy on the consent aspect. I felt like the drama romanticized the abuse Thit put Jee through, and that doesn't sit well with me.

To each their own though. We all have different perspectives. As a seasoned lakorn viewer, I definitely wouldn't say this is the best one.

I watched this one for the first time in 2018. I've watched it four times since then. It has so many twists and turns and little details that you need to re-watch it multiple times to catch them all. It's seriously underrated.

I think people are being a little hard on this drama. For a lakorn, this is as good as they get. You can't expect it to be Korean drama-tier. Being imperfect doesn't mean it's not entertaining.

I really enjoyed it in all its imperfection. I tend to like unusual/fantastical dramas, though.

The story started to feel a little tired after 10 episodes, the romance was unsatisfactory (it wouldn't have killed them to give us one more kiss, they were already dead!), and the humor died out the last few episodes, but there were still enough unresolved mysteries to keep me engaged.

Keep coming back to this one even after three years... I think I've watched the entire thing four or five times. I just can't get over Karakade and Khun P! They are absolutely perfect for each other.

I feel like Thongs Entertainment (Anne Thongprasom's production company) will help bring Thai dramas up to scratch. Each drama she produces gets better and closer to what the public actually wants

You right XD GMMTV gets more views because they actually provide English subtitles for their lakorns. No other channel does that, which is annoying.

I don't think many Thai Dramas would be for me, but there is one I keep meaning to check out: I really, totally…
I LOVE the Thai Full House! It's SO much better than the Korean version. It's actually what got me in to Thai dramas in the first place.

Title You Are My Glory Spoiler
Just finished watching this! I think YY and DR saved this drama. Their natural chemistry kept the show entertaining when things got slow. They're one of the most convincing couples I've seen in a Chinese drama-- they didn't hold back at all. They also displayed a natural intimacy even without all the sweet scenes.
I liked this mature and realistic drama. It tugged at my heartstrings and never got frustrating (except for episodes 17-21). It's more of a feel-good drama than a showstopper.
