I discovered that Yang Yang was a professional dancer before he became an actor. His graduation dance was breathtakingly…
He was a dancer?? Gosh, and I thought YY couldn't get any more attractive-- gorgeous, funny, witty, talented actor, rich, AND he can dance beautifully.
Why does Yang Yang keep accepting gaming dramas? This is already his 3rd one. Anyone know? Im just curious. Dont…
Even though both YAMG and Love O2O (I haven't seen the third drama you mentioned) are gaming dramas, the dramas are actually very different. The characters Yang Yang plays are also very different from each other. Even though he should have more variety in the types of dramas he acts in, it's not like he's playing the same role over and over again.
I’m normally a silent reader here in MDL, but I create an account today to express how much I LOVE this drama.…
If you're looking for a more mature/realistic drama like this one, I highly recommend "The Rational Life." It's witty, intelligent, down-to-earth, and realistic in many aspects. Plus the female lead is SUPER well-written, which is something you don't often see in dramas.
This was such a great watch! I binged it in three days. Great humor, great chemistry, great storyline. I LOVED how they handled the break-up. Usually the leads will mope around for 5+ episodes after they break up, but these two got right back together! And honestly though the breakup was pretty predictable, it actually made a lot of sense. As much as I love Liang Jie, I feel like Steven Zhang was the one who seriously NAILED his role. His portrayal of Jiang Yi's character development was 100% believable. Also, he did an awesome job acting like Liang Jie! The way he would try to tuck his hair behind his ear like she did-- brilliant!
Anyway, I highly recommend this drama. What a joy to watch.
P.S.: I think this is the first Chinese drama I've watched (besides maybe Love O2O) that didn't have a rushed ending XD
I'm late to the party too, but are there seriously people who doubt that Yang Mi is the goddess of wuxia??? I thought that went without saying. I can't say much about your point on Kris Wu since I'm not at all familiar with him, but I will say that I think the main reason they chose Dylan Wang as Dao Ming Si was because of his age. Kris Wu is much older, and I think they specifically wanted actors who either were high school age or close to it. The appeal of The Eternal Love for me was that it didn't try to be more than it was. It was super cringe sometimes. It was low-budget. Almost the entire cast was made up of newbie actors. The drama knew it, and just went with it. It has a fun, light-hearted feel to it and it's pretty funny. I skipped through the entire plot, so I honestly couldn't tell you what it's about XD I definitely get why other people don't care for it, though-- it's really not a very good drama when you look at it objectively.
OMG, I so needed this article, thank you! Got a lot of new shows to watch. I'm a newbie to cdramas but I've been…
You'd probably love "The Rational Life." The FL in that one is probably my favorite FL. She's rational (but not so rational she becomes irrational, if you get my meaning), smart, capable, and independent without being a snob about it. Sometimes the "strong" female leads are so "strong" that they'll never allow anyone to help them. That seriously annoys me. Or they're "strong" but they somehow always need the guy to come save them? Or they're stand-offish. The FL in The Rational Life is none of these. She's just plain awesome.
I'm late to the party here, but you'd probably really enjoy Game Rai Game Rak (2011). It's a revenge lakorn. Nadech…
They have a mix of real and fake from what I remember. There are at least two real kisses, which for the time in lakorn history was a lot XD Real kisses used to be really uncommon
jing jing is ready to be your sugar mommy,,, come on yu tu stop being wishy washy :P
It's so frustrating for me... This is the first drama I've watched in a long time where both of the leads like each other, but don't know that the other person likes them back. I keep shouting at my screen, "JUST KISS ALREADY" because that would save us all a lot of trouble and we know they both want to *sigh*
Guys!! Please suggest some lakrons like these:Kleun cheewitTra barb see chombuHua jai silaa U prince- handsome…
I'm late to the party here, but you'd probably really enjoy Game Rai Game Rak (2011). It's a revenge lakorn. Nadech seeks revenge on Yaya because they got married when she lost her memories and washed up on his island. When she regained her memories, she forgot him, but he thought she was just faking it. And so it began... It's a really good watch.
I feel the same as you. Disappointed as I have been so looking fwd to it since i like both YY and Dlrba
I have read the novel, so I can attest to the fact that YY's character is expressionless and reserved. He's portraying him well, in my opinion. I can understand it's frustrating for those not familiar with the novel to see YY so stony.
Even though he should have more variety in the types of dramas he acts in, it's not like he's playing the same role over and over again.
Needless to say, I'm very excited for this one to come out! XD
