What I’m about to say as a huge Kim Seon Ho fan is painful. But please hear me out.
KSH delivered so did the FL but not enough to catapult the show into a classic, iconic, or stellar list.
The first few episodes, I enjoyed but when I reached the latter episodes, esp. Episode 10 onwards, I found myself pressing the 1.5x speed button (one of my proven and tested indicators as a longtime K content fan). I felt it became repetitive and tiresome. I couldn’t believe myself and had to pause to accept the fact that I was bored and KSH wasn’t enough to save me and the show. It must be the pacing?
From that point on it became a struggle to go on, as it became a chore. I wasn’t enjoying it anymore. Also, the leads chemistry didn’t reach me sadly. This should have been reduced to a 8-10 episodes max.
Cinematography + Music 10/10.
I still finished it as my means of support to KSH but I’m sorry, this is not it. 8/10 overall. I’m a fan but this must be said.
And by the way, I need to say this. This show reminds me so much of Kill Me, Heal Me x IONTBO, fusion. Those two dramas that I mentioned are even worthy of a rewatch than this. Mianhae. :(
