Some ppl need to understand that not all sex under less than ideal circumstances equals rape. It was not Kinn’s intention to sleep with Porsche that night and Porsche was very persistent in his advances. I think it was well done how they portrayed the regret the morning after for both parties, it was handeled delicately and with care. kp first time really highlighted the humanity of the characters for me,how they are flawed and make mistakes. Honestly, I went into this show expecting all kinds of non-con but was actually very plesantly surprised:D

I’m an atheist but I thank the Lord everyday for the amazing gift that is Kinnporsche🙏I don’t think I’ve ever been this sad about a show ending. Unfortunately I don’t think I can ever go back to GMMTV BLs again (unless they step up their game big time)😅
Some of the things that I love about KP:
-the characters: not only do I love the mains but the minor characters are also interesting and fleshed out. The characterization! The complexity!The consistency!
-the romance: intense! Narratively juicy! You can really can feel the intimacy
-the sibling relationships
-cinematography,artistic direction ,use of symbolism and parallels ,music
-sparkly assassin lady -moral ambiguity -Vegas and his little torture kit

Yea in order to do ”good” BDSM representation we would definetly need a non-mafia setting. I personally like dark stories and fucked up dynamics that sometimes can include bad BDSM etiquette (looking at you VegasPete:D). But as you said it would be good balance to have a couple with a ”healthier” outlook portrayed. Just some office workers being consensually kinky you knowXDMaybe in the future🤔

I get where you are coming from. But as long as the main mafia guy (can’t remember the name right now)stays in the mafia throughout the show and doesn’t change careers or something no one should use their BDSM etiquette (or potentially lack of) as something to model. We don’t want to imitate gangsters even if they are portrayed as ”good”:D I would be more critical of the BDSM aspect and representation if the mains were two normal dudes (non-gangster). I have not watched this yet, but honestly my expectations are quite low based on the trailer and promo pictures. I’ll still give it a chance tho. One thing I don’t understand however is why some people complain about the bad BDSM etiquette? I mean I would never in a million years expect a mob boss to care about(or even know of) all the intricacies of consent,aftercare etc. It is actually really weird to expect good bed manners from characters who kill for a living and engage in shady business in general😅
