also HATEEEE how kangha made it seem like he will take them to hell and then didnt actually do anything by the…
THISSSS. Like his character from the 1st ep was 10/10 but fell to a 3/10 by the end of the series. Like my guy literally forgot his bro died for a girl with daddy issues and had to be reminded by a random kid about his revenge. He legit threw his revenge off the roof just to beg for the female lead's love in return. I just wanna know who approved of this script because it was a whole mess.
the lady teacher who killed inhan gets arrested. the other kids and bullies gets disciplined. jae-i leaves and…
Wrong. It wasn't shown whether the bullies were disciplined or not because the scene was cut-off when Rian entered. None of the bullies were held accountable for what they did and lived their normal highschool life like nothing happened. Only the teacher was jailed for what she did. Rian and Hera only apologized because Jaei told them to. Kangha never really achieved his revenge because it was Woojin who exposed the teacher's crime and the class president who had the videos for evidence.
The only thing good about this was the trailer. Imagine promoting this as a “revenge” drama only to waste it on a cliche love triangle route. Mind you, the male lead never did his revenge because it was the teacher’s lover that exposed her crimes and the class president who had all those videos. Male lead didn’t do jackshit.
Also the quote on the poster “Everyone has a secret worth dying for” like where?? The only ones who had the darkest secret was Jaei and Woojin + the teacher. Tf they mean by “Everyone”???
He really threw his gf off the roof in that show thats crazy
Bruh put a spoiler tag lmao. Thats a major spoiler right there but thats what actually make it 5x better than Hierarchy. The kids there are more intense and acted better than the casting here.
Hierarchy: Hey, can I copy your homework? Class of Lies: Sure, just make it look different so it doesn’t look like you copied. Heirarchy: Ok
This show is literally just a cheap copy of Class of Lies but with a bigger budget. The only difference is that Class of Lies had BETTER acting, BETTER ending and BETTER flow of the story.
This honestly has to be worst drama of the year because what even was that?? They promoted this as a “revenge” drama but gave us nothing in the end. Instead of the male lead doing it, others made the revenge for him??? I was looking forward to this because I like Chaemin and Jeongeui but girl’s acting here was mid through and through. She was so good at Dear M, 18 Again and her other previous roles but she just went on downgrade here??? and for this to be Chaemin’s first lead role, its not him who failed but the show itself that made it so bad for him. Whoever wrote this whole mess, please never write again. Can’t believe I waited a year after casting was announced only to waste my whole day enduring to watch this.
The parents did say that Jungwon was designed to win every game so it was unexpected to them that Yoonseo won…
Jungwon told Yoonseo that she'll give her the win specifically. Yoonseo was still alive but badly injured. That part I don't understand because both Yoonseo and Junhee won but only Yoonseo woke up. I feel like thats one of the plot hole. It's kind of unfair on Junhee that he didn't wake up though but I think Junhee might've experienced a glitch or bug which made it difficult for him to awaken, just my two cents. I guess the writer wanted to emphasize on Yoonseo being the main character/lead of the whole show thats why the ending focused on her only.
The parents didn't control the kids. The kids were the ones thinking on their own accord so Yoonseo having a crush…
I agree that Junhee should've won and woke up as well since he was the last standing with less injuries. Idk what the writer was doing to make him dead sleep like that, its kind of unfair on his part since he also completed the game. They really wanted Yoonseo to be the main lead for this show I guess.
So the ending is basically: you win and you think you won, but you didn’t win and you can’t win. Great, what…
The parents did say that Jungwon was designed to win every game so it was unexpected to them that Yoonseo won that round. The mom had no plans on freeing the kids so whether they win or not, they will still be forced to play it again.
"Your the first person to win the game" They were trying so hard to make the girl the main character omg like…
The parents didn't control the kids. The kids were the ones thinking on their own accord so Yoonseo having a crush on Junhee was real not their characters. The only character the parents had control of was Jungwon but because of a bug/error, they couldn't control her in that one game making Yoonseo win instead. From my understanding, Jungwon gave the win to Yoonseo specifically which made her wake up alone without Junhee. I know it doesn't make sense since they both won but I guess it had something to do with the bug/error or Junhee himself who couldn't get himself to wake up from it. I guess we can conclude that Yoonseo is special which explains why she still has fragments of memories from her previous game hence her saying the youth center looked familiar.
that makes sense.. although the ghost part needs explanation.. you have, but that's where writer is not clear..
Like I said, the writer was only given a limited amount of episodes to fit what she wanted to fit in so it makes sense why there are plot holes here and there. Them having to squeeze in the ghost story to give more depth would need them to make the episodes longer and I don't think the writer had that luxury(I'm not against the explaining part though because I actually would've prefer if the writer took out some unnecessary scenes to make way for the "ghost story" to be elaborated). The production only gave her this amount of episodes so the writer had to stick through it and put what she wanted, its up to the viewers to theorize on what the writer showed us. The ending gives way for another season(which I highly doubt there would be because the ending was up to the viewers to believe what they want)
I'm not saying this story was very well done because obviously there were plot holes but if you were given limited resource, its up to you how you want others to interpret it.

I don't think it was the writer's intention to spoon feed everything by providing scenes that gives more depth on the ghost thing since there is only a limited amount of episodes. It is up to the viewers to interpret what she has laid down to us. Just like I said, it was simply just supernatural stuff and we all know how this aspect is hard to explain.
that makes sense.. although the ghost part needs explanation.. you have, but that's where writer is not clear..
The ghost part is simply just supernatural stuff. It simply puts that Seeun never wanted this to happen(like what Yoonseo said to her mother) that's why her soul took control of the game by giving Yoonseo signals by appearing as a ghost and somehow possessing the game character Jungwon hence "the mysterious bug/error". I don't know why supernatural isn't included in the genre of this show though, I guess they wanted to keep that part a mystery.
For those who did not understand especially the ending, I'll explain it from my understanding (I watched a lot of shows like this so I know a thing or two)
Jungwon is a game character that Seeun made but was still in development for a game contest she was about to participate in but after she passed, her parents took the role and developed Jungwon into a fully developed game character. Looking how her parents are wealthy, its given that they planned all this(kidnapping the kids to play the game, most probably hiring the teacher who took them to the youth center and all that has happened hence to why the kids' parents and police had no idea.) The ghost appearing in the first few episodes was Seeun's soul trying to manipulate the game, she was giving Yoonseo signals. This is the reason why the mother said there was a mysterious bug/error that happened. Jungwon was supposedly not programmed to be a close friend to Yoonseo but it happened only on this game(that happened throughout the whole show). In the last bus scene, the parents fixed the bug, making Jungwon no longer a close friend to Yoonseo and now against her. Throughout the whole show, Jungwon was designed to win every game but this was the only time/game Yoonseo was able to convince her making Yoonseo win instead. It's Seeun's soul that tried to hack the game to give the truth to her friend Yoonseo, hence all that supernatural sheninagans in the first few episodes and somehow taking in control of Jungwon. (Idk why Junhee didn't make it though since he was also alive but Jungwon did tell Yoonseo that she'll give her the win). At the start of the show, we see Yoonseo in a dream. This is a fragment of memory she had in her previous game. Its a mystery why she remembers though but I think it was because she was the closest friend to Seeun.
In the parents' POV, everyone in class, including Yoonseo and Junhee were part of it. The two may be innocent from bullying but the ignorance was there. It was impossible for Yoonseo and Junhee to not have an idea about the video since it was spread throughout the group chat. They're supposed to know at some point but weren't able to stop the rumors or Seeun from what she did so from the parent's POV, yes, they were partly responsible.
Before anyone say that I'm defending the plot, I am not. I am just putting myself in writer's POV and show you guys how it is laid out. I would've actually prefer if Seeun fully developed the game herself, didn't really die but got plastic surgery instead and initiated the revenge herself. That would've been badass imo.
Nope, that mafia game they were in throughout the whole show was the only time Yoonseo was able to convince Jungwon to save her, making Yoonseo win for the first time. In every game, only Jungwon wins but not on this one. The mother explained it.
No, it was Seeun's parents that created the game. Game host was Seeun/Jungwon, that's why the mother said that in every game it was designed to make Jungwon win the game.
i knew there'd be one person trying to defend this plot oh my
Where in my comment does it look like I'm defending the plot? You don't have to be a genius to figure it out the ending though. I've watched plenty of shows like this. You just have to read between the lines. Don't expect the writer to spoon feed every details. I'm here explaining that certain part of the ending because some of you don't understand.
Y'all in the comments section asking how the police and the kids' parents not know that their kids are kidnapped and all. The time in the game doesn't reflect to reality so if they're playing over 5-10 games in their sleep, that's just like 5-10 mins in real time. So of course, the police and the kids' parents won't know because only a few minutes has passed. Also, I believe Seeun's parents set up the class trip (they look rich so the planned this ahead of time). They disguised the trip as something like a 2-3 day retreat so that the kids' parents won't know they got kidnapped.
The most annoying character is that vice pres. Every episode, I want her gone. I don't get how she always gets a free pass on suspicion when everything points to her being Mafia. I'm convinced the whole class is dumb for not voting her manipulating ass. She should've gotten votes when that one girl told that she pushed the guy from that cliff. She has done nothing to contribute to the class/team. I just hate how she keeps accusing other people without solid evidence and can the female lead be anymore dense? She gets accused by the vice pres so many times and she still brushes it off.
Also the quote on the poster “Everyone has a secret worth dying for” like where?? The only ones who had the darkest secret was Jaei and Woojin + the teacher. Tf they mean by “Everyone”???
