Idk AOL deserves more than a bunch of haters who’ll rate it a 1. It literally went from a 9.2 to 8 something *sighs* hater really going to purposely nitpick just to justify the hate. Sucks that popular shows will attract unreasonable haters. These shows are still bomb no matter what these haters try to do.

I would say don’t force yourself to watch it just because of reviews I did that before and it honestly didn’t make the show any better. I tried rewatching fuyao because of all the positive review but it just still disappointed me by being so bland. Also if a show is the same genre it’s pretty much impossible to not seem similar. Idk but Jin Mi is a very refreshing charcter to me she’s funny but very determined and the good thing is she isn’t the typical unfeeling but seemingly powerful who needs everyone else’s help. She sure makes mistakes but it’s due to others manipulation and even then she herself tries to right her wrong even if it’ll cost her life. If you don’t like Jin Mi’s character don’t try to pick it up because Jin Mi is the strong point of the show.

Same still can’t get over how great this show is and I still cry when I rewatched it. Don’t know what’s your taste is like but if you like Yang Zi then definitely try Battle of Changsha it’s the best war show to me.

I thought the brother would’ve been more mature and handles it better but he just seems like a child. Like who goes around to stab someone and I love how even though he confessed at the police station they all act like it’s nothing like wtf, bitch just stabbed someone and it’s all fine and good?! Don’t get me wrong I’m hooked on this show but some actions irritate me.

Is it me or what but Jung so min literally has great chemistry with everyone?!

This is show is a materpiece but fan wars are really sometimes out of hand. Like there are haters who will purposely rate it with a 1 just to drag the show down. I enjoyed both AOL and TMOPB although AOL will always be the best show for me. It still doesn’t seem right to just you know trash something else. Let’s just enjoy. Also wanted to add something after seeing @ninan comment that there is something going on like I notice Chinese shows ratings are droppping weirdly.

Although I’m not too happy that this show is so repetitive I’m happy the lovely couple Tiffany and Luo Jin are married, congrats to them!

Oh before I searched it up due to the plagiarism thing and I think some other sites stole it or something because it’s still out there last year. I feel ya TMOPB without Mark as the ML I don’t think I’ll even complete it. So many actions from the FL just doesn’t sit well with me and I can’t even start with how annoying the second otp got at first they were cute and then it became some kind of weird chase push n pull thing. The whole show was just so flawed and Mark was the only good thing from it imo.

You’re right since you’ve already watched and like the show it’s not like you’ll hate it after knowing about the plagiarism. I enjoyed it although it’s not my fav I wouldn’t boycott it or anything since the show itself wasn’t plagiarized but the novel.

Well the director himself said that the old casts won’t be making appearances in season 2 so idk if that confirms anything. Also I don’t see a point of season 2 much if the original cast are gone with a different plot. Just a reminder I never said it was bad.

Sadly the original cast especially the leads won’t be in S2 it’s a whole new story about their son.

Sadly season 2 is going to be about the kid and apparently the director I believe said that he’s using all new cast so the old cast will not even be guest starring.
