Idk about others but there’s no way for me to support a plagiarized work like although I somewhat enjoyed TMOPB but I would never read the novel. I mean I wouldn’t be happy knowing my hard work got stolen and the stealer is making millions out of it. There are people who love TMOPB but some would never watch it because it’s an adaption of a plagiarized novel.

Just saw your comment and I completely agree AOL is doing a lot better than TMOPB on Douban mainly because it is not an adaption of a plagiarized work. They both are good but I’m on AOL since it’s original and the cast especially Yang Zi’s acting blew me away. I feel bad for the original author that their hard work got stolen and the other crappy plagiarizing author is getting all the money. It sucks that Jaywalk knows about it but is still paying/buying from that author. It’s weird I thought the broadcasting stations in China were harsh on plagiarism but I guess not.

Uh Idk how to feel about this season 2 as it’s going to be a total different story and all. Like AOL plot was great but really I’m sure what hooked many viewers including myself in was the actors especially the chemistry and now I’m told they’re not going to be in season 2. I’m sorry im not going to watch it unless they have a bomb ass story with actors who can act.

Agree Asian beauty standards are ridiculous so many celebs are whitening their skin, bleaching, dieting and all just to be “pretty” like the beauty standards are so unrealistic. Although I’m not a fan of DD herself since her acting to me is stiff but she seems pretty sweet it’s just the fans who are going out of their way. There’s a major fan war and now these poor girls are stuck. Like you said I don’t get why fans have to put another down to praise what they like. Both fandom needs to chill and support whoever they like without attacking.

It really isn’t that fast paced but still is a good show. Although not comparable to SH or SD.

She’s in a new relationship and seemed happier now. I guess he doesn’t want to be married but his gf or atleast ZS did.

Sucks for her that she felt insecure and almost gave up her career for marriage but they still broke up

In the novel they had less side characters and it focuses mainly on the leads because it was from Jin mi’s point of view. Jin Mi, Xu Feng, and Night appeared the most. Also the ending isn’t that different except they took out lots of reunion time for the otp. For example their cultivation or the hilarious remarks from Jin Mi and Xu Feng reactions to her naiveness.

I love my babies’ interactions ughhh they’re so cuteeee. They have such a beautiful friendship that I’m shipping them so much, jiayou LunZi!<3

They really should’ve spent more time on other characters rather than just trying to promote demon princess who imo isn’t the best supporting.

See I always forget which is which but now after reading many Cnovels I kind of remember what the genre mean cause I’m used to reading genres labeled as fantasy or supernatural instead. It’s a little weird that now I prefer Chinese novels over American it’s like I find Cnovels so much more intriguing.

Idk if it’s a thing in China only or what but I’m starting to see many ML stoic/stiff faces with no emotions at all like yea I get you’re suppose to be a serious charcter, but those kind acting throws me off. I don’t mind seeing those kind of characters in the novel, but in shows it’s just not to my taste.

Guys try out Dark Lord if you’re looking for a comedy show I watched the first few episodes and found it pretty funny.
