Yall on the contrary I think Doha's mum is the murderer. She probably thought that ex was holding her son back and got rid of her only to freak out that her son confessed to the murder. I dont see anyone else around Doha with a motive for killing his ex girlfriend.

Heres my conspiracy theory: There are multiple watchmen, i.e a few of them looking after lee seol. So siyeol is a watchman. But what if the head watchman is the bodyguard of the current king? He looks v sus! But would also make sense since the imperial family hasnt managed to find lee seol all these years if hes the one foiling the kings plans
