This show is such a wonderful surprise. I wasn’t expecting much, but I am so engrossed with the Typhoon family trying to save the business. Each one of them are so nice and supportive, and they aren’t even getting paid. When they ran to where Tae-poong was freezing his butt off and automatically gave him earmuffs, scarf and hot coffee, it showed how much heat they have and a testament to how much they loved their CEO.
I actually liked this episode, but wish we got something more than the abrupt ending. I missed Hae the last half he was gone, and wish we got one scene of him in the hospital with his dad to show us how his treatment was going.
My favorite scene was the “siblings” crying with Hae while he was in the hospital. Their relationship was so sweet. This show was such a warm hug and will miss it.
I love the journey, but it was the sample that an ending can destroy the memorable journey. I wish they show the…
Amyloidosis is treated by slowing down the progression of the disease with a lot of expensive medications. This was actually a realistic portrayal of the disease.
They had to really lay it thick on the viewers what a jerk the ex fiancé was. Watching the FL bumbling around Ann’s making mistake after mistake was difficult to watch, and yet another trope to hide that your ex was a cheater. Isn’t this the second drama in a row the FL is in with this cliche? The writers can have a decent storyline without crapping on the lead.
Second episode got better at least, but now we have the awful ex’s equally disgusting family to deal with.. It’s a good thing the actors have great chemistry.
I don’t think the ex secretary is to blame. She’s pretty much been on board from the beginning because of the Special Care act, and now she knows why it’s blocked. The ML is the worst- everyone is assuming he’s having an affair but he doesn’t even come out and refute the obvious lie. It’s all so freaking frustrating to watch.
Well seeing what she saw meh I could see her jumping to the conclusion that he was messing around with that chick…
Yeah all the stuttering on how it was a big misunderstanding when he should have explained it, but his daughter did yell and kick him out of the room. Should have said something earlier, but then there wouldn’t be the current drama with this nonsense.
Of course he wasn’t having an affair. Daughter was dumb because they were fully clothed and her eyes were closed like she was passed out. This is why people should communicate instead of hiding things. Mr President-elect, communicate with your wife and tell her the real reason why you want a divorce. We all want to know why you’re so shady if you’re not cheating.
Wonder who the actual father is, and why FL is hell bent on stopping the special act to pass. 7 episodes in and I’m still so confused.
I am realizing that the Chairman must be alive, with the glasses of soju in the house. Probably laying low so the kids can go after YR and try to kill her, then they will get thrown in jail. Yes, it’s an elaborate plot but if he just had them killed then he’d probably go to jail since everyone would suspect him. Curious to see exactly how their plan will go next week, and what the last half of the show will be about if they found her already.
So tired of Hye Ji and her sickening baby voice, so I usually fast forward her and the housekeeper/driver who are also annoying, along with the mooching mom. Less of them the better.
So many annoying characters on this show- Hye ji, the stepsiblings who are psychopaths, and that annoying guy who is trying to buy the land. Oh, and the typical mooching mom. It’s a good thing the other characters and storyline make up for it.
Wondering when the stepsiblings will find out where she is since so many people know the truth now that she’s not incognito. They are so crazy and unhinged that I’m worried about everyone around them getting caught in the crossfire. At least it took them long enough to threaten the lawyer. Can’t wait until karma comes after them.
Besides the interest in the lead trying to save the company despite knowing nothing about the job, I love how they immediately humanized the employees by showing us how they mourned their boss. It was a seamless way of introducing them as characters, and I can’t wait to see them all work together.
Nice to remind us how inconvenient it was to not have cell phones, with seeing Tae-poong running to the trucks instead of calling the driver.
I wish that dumb loser stopped bothering TP, and wondering what his dad does to not be affected by the financial crisis along with what he’s trying to find that the dad hid from him.
How did a show that started off being about a very strong friendship end up as rivals competing for Miss Korea. Did they change writers halfway, because there is no way that meek and quiet YR would ever compete in this. I just can’t with this show anymore and no longer care to finish it next week. What a waste of time for these talented actors.
Like others, thought it was a really good first episode and set the groundwork for this show seamlessly. I thought Jun ho’s character would be a jerk, but he’s so sweet and considerate. If will be fun to see him try to save his dad’s business when he’s a horticulture guy. Plus, we get to see Jun Ho dancing which is a bonus!
Those jerks at the club made me so angry that they called him for no reason when he should have been at the hospital. Hope that the main ring leader gets some bad karma coming at him because he’s so awful. Wondering if the economic collapse will affect him.
