She did but it takes a long time for letters to arrive. I think they are using the weather and some of the mini plots (Xu travel time mentioned) to indicate softly how long it’s all taking for the letter to get there & a response to get back.

Yea I do like how they make it hard to pick just one side, except the cousin. That lil sh*t is getting on my nerves. He’s literally hurting her bc he’s not mature enough to handle rejection & calling it love. He didn’t have to embarrass her like that.
