you're right, I failed to understand why there were negative comments because almost no one explained it, just…
I doubt all comments were only about “dragged”. Many pointed out how the storytelling was a mess and how the medical parts were unrealistic. But I accept the fact that maybe you haven’t read all of them. But this doesn’t justify the fact that you wrote an article that focus more on denigrating who didn’t like the show instead of explain your POV. Something I will never accept in other articles too, not only yours. Because overall it’s not that different than going around in comment sections saying: “it’s not the drama that is bad but it’s you that are not smart enough to understand it”. I never complained on how MDL deal with articles but this time I am kinda concern, because there are more and more articles about why we should watch a drama, and the risk to bring bad behaviors of comment section in it is high.
There is a difference between a simple plot told in a shitty messy way to make it seems smarter than what it is. And a true masterpiece, aka well written and narrated story. Mouse fall in the first category. If this is a masterpiece than Signal what is it? I am sad you were so focus on defending a drama you like that you lost the chance to explain why people should give this a chance. And most important you failed to try to understand why there were negative comments in the first place. ;)
After all the suffer we got by following this messy storytelling, I hope the last twist plot will lead to a proper explanation/conclusion! I can’t take another fake twist anymore.
It’s just a recap told by the POV of characters with an external narrating voice, plus interviews with cast who play said roles. Overall the editing is twisted as much as the drama. I suggest to watch Mouse: The Predator, is way better and interesting.
Isn't this poster a bit of a spoiler?!For those who are yet to watch the show this poster could be a massive spoiler…
Yeah, tvN has released different posters for the second part of drama as well as this special, and obviously they are a spoiler for those who haven’t watch the show. Unfortunately this happens a lot lately, with dramas releasing belate poster once the true villain is introduced.
This drama it's an original iQiyi series, they asked tvN and JTBC studios to produced it, but it's their series. tvN got the tv license, but the streaming is exclusive iQiyi. At least while it's on air. Unless iqiyi has some kind of partnership with other streaming platforms this drama will only be available on iq.com. It's like asking to watch a netflix original series on amazon.
I hate to see a great show turn into this. While I realize JBR is a very unreliable narrator, these fake-outs…
I agree. They are overusing the fake cliffhanger twist plot at end episode. They are overusing the the childhood trauma connections and how many serial killers there can be in a country?! Lol

Kinda cringe but funny!

I was referring to the fact that most k-dramas in recent years started to abuse the time jump and flashback direction.
