The reason the first part of the story didn’t make sense was because we were actually watching the twisted memory…
Because for many reasons it wasn’t that obvious or at least it wasn’t so easy to predict it.
Everyone has its own way of thinking and ability to focus on different things. Apparently many of us were more focused on trying to figuring out what genre the drama was or who the POV was to see all the hints drop here and there ;)

The reason the first part of the story didn’t make sense was because we were actually watching the twisted memory of a woman with alzahimer, the author was so great in creating a story that was so confused and disoriented like what an alzhaimer patient must feel. Then the last two episodes show the real story and you get how bad this sickness can be. The only remark I have is the execution, the last two episodes felt really like watching a complete different drama, but I guess this is the price to pay for having a big twist plot.

At first I was like “wtf the author smoked”, then the ep. 10 made all clear and it became one of the most brilliant drama I have ever watched. It require patience but it’s worth it.

I agree with the opening about why write a review, the need to share my ideas. And I think this is the main problem that make so difficult to me writing reviews. Cause on one side I just want to share my opinion on what I watched without worrying about skipping one element of the show or sharing a bit more my view on facts, on the other side I believe a review should always be obejective while touching all the elemenst of a drama. So often I find myself conflicted, cause I would like to talk about the title, but I don't have enough material to make a full review and I end up giving up. I would like to learn to make short review with a few key points.

Title Hello, Me!
Is there a trailer of this drama that I can watch
no, it's too early for a trailer, they just annouced the cast. Probably they will start to promote the drama around January.

Honestly the author lost a big chance by making the two ML love rivals instead of business partners. They have qualities and flaws that compensate each other. A mentor/trainee relationship would have made both shine, bringing a real bond/bromance set in a business/start up environment. And I say all this as a romance fan. :/ sometimes romance is not fit into kdramas, authors are stubborn.

Title Start-Up
Great ideas, badly written.
Tropes after tropes the drama lost his initial concept to focus on the romance. Many things didn’t have a proper and solid background, nor a realistic portray. The ending washed away all the angst and problems seen so far almost like magic, suddenly they all mature?!? Not realistic.
I don’t care about sides. My opinion is 100% related to the quality of writing. It has some good moments, some good characters (loved the grandma) and overall it was well acted, but the script lacks.

Amazing article!
For the little I know, I heard that the word "drama" came actually from Japan cause they start to call their first tv production dorama. Can you confirm this? I was curious on the origins of dramas as well.

Review Private Lives
I think I dropped it because of the lack of team-bonding. This is one of the reasons I even like con artists shows…
The lack of team bond is something that probably put off many viewers.
Maybe because usually with con-artist that's the kind of drama we get and so people feel scammed lol
Maybe cause I am not a huge fan of team-bond drama, but once I accept that this was not one of those drama I could appreciated the unique story.

Exactly, you can have the best story the world but you meed to tell it well
On Private Lives Nov 26, 2020
The main problem was the storytelling.
For the rest I can’t find any valid complaining, once you set your mind that this is not the classic team/conartist drama you can enjoy this action story for what it is, ConArtists who end up in a bigger scheme than them, where big shots can even move and scheme the politics of a country. Romance added a bit of sweet to the whole plotting, but it wasn’t the main focus. Definitely better for a binge watch, following it on air was a mess.
