I don’t approve the directing and I think they wasted potential in not developing in a stronger way the bond between characters, romance included. BUT the conspiracy plot about politics and con-artist is still well written and quite intriguing. I am curious to read the opinions of those who will binge watch. I think that this drama would have receive more attention if it would have be available all in one sitting on netflix.
Great review! It explain very well the overall concept of the production, useful to someone like me who didn’t watch the drama. Now all the IG talks made more sense.
Thank you for this article. I find out about him casually a couple of weeks and this article is definitely useful to those like me who didn’t know him.
Using the FL suffering to push away the ML is such an annoying trope to drag the love-story. I am so happy it ended, even if I suspect more drama will come now! Fighting My Koala!!
Why no one is considering that they both lie to her and, if she has some pride as a woman she should dump both. I like HJP more but I think she should pick herself and her career. The drama forgot this is about finding your way in work and life.
What a great journey it was to follow the joys and sorrows of the “HU” family between war, action, love and comedy. The drama was able to balance all these elements in a way that I would never have believed possible. They showed the tragic story of this family while keeping a constant level of sarcasm for almost all the drama before giving in to the full tragedy that is war. I loved all the characters and the cast.
A nice romantic comedy that portrayed the love between parents and children better than the rom-com itself. Unfortunately outside this valid element, the script was full of useless fillers and trope, format and editing didn't help, and overall it was quite boring despite having its good moments. I would recommend this to Lee Do Hyun's fans cause it did a wonderful job here, but as a rom-com, it's totally skippable.
Agree almost on all. I found the family part good, but the rest was a filler. For the acting, I liked only the younger cast and I didn't mind some romance between the teenager, but the adult one was a pain in the ass.
