I loved the FL, she had a huge development not only in the appearance but also as character, she gets more confident and start to choose for her own good and not for the ML. I also liked a lot the whole story about college life, friendship, dreams, careers and family issues of each students. Unfortunately the romance was a disappointment, the love story was too long, draggy, with futile cliché and a useless love triangle. As in other school romcom cdrama, romantically speaking nothing major happens, they also act too innocent considering their age. The only thing I enjoyed about the romance were the jealousy moments. Overall is a great warm story but way too slow and draggy.
A revenge drama where characters are not white or black but have different layers, to achieve their goals they don’t always make the rightful decision and the result is something satisfying but bitter. Beautiful performance of the cast and the soundtrack fit perfectly the mood on screen. The plot has its high and low moments but overall it doesn’t lose his vibe, strong and dramatic. The ending fit the mood of the drama, I like when writers are not scared to dare with melodrama.
I get all your points but I think you are a bit too harsh. The industry is big, I think it’s normal to have different…
Acting of leads is not that great, didn’t like none of their previous works, maybe only Cinderella was kinda cute. I like the girl from oh my ghostness. And I have a weak point for bickering stories. But with korean romcom I usually end up ranting a lot. We will see :)
Your typical cliché romcom, story very predictable. I am not fond of the leads but there are a few names in the cast that I like, the grandma, and the FL’s friend, the one from oh my ghostness, that in my opinion should have been the lead. I wish the story would focus on FL and her three brothers as a family. But I already know is not the main topic of the show. I laugh a bit during this premiere, I will stick around to see how the bickering love-hate goes, main reason I started this.
I couldn't take it the minute it started.... loud obnoxious over reactive fl that screams my headphones off? checkridiculous…
I get all your points but I think you are a bit too harsh. The industry is big, I think it’s normal to have different type of quality when it came to production. This low/level cliché dramas will never stop to exist, like we have makjang and other typical stuff. When I start this I knew what I was about to watch. If it turn out bad for the acting or for the script I will be the first to say it. But right now I will just accept the fact that I decided to watch a romcom about a girl who hate pretty boys just cause her brothers are awesome. I mean, you can get the overall quality of the drama just from the synopsis.
Everyone praised this movie but to me the story was just average. The boxer part about collecting money is a copycat from other movies, rocky included. And even the romance with a blind persone is not that innovative. Overall is just a romance story, with some sad dynamics throw in there to call it a melodrama, nothing that left a stronger impression. I never get, and probably never will, this kind of melodramas that don’t know where to stand, a bit sad, a bit light. It looks like they wanted to write a sad story but didn’t have the courage to go heavy. The good part is the cast.
Ep. 19 was pure perfection. I was heartbroken, I miss my mom so much.
I was expecting a predictable twist plot about joker and instead they surprised me with a well placed glass of beer. Koreans writers usually make a mess when they try to mix many and distant genres together, this one was instead perfect balanced, a heartwarming story about family, friendship, romance, crime, mystery and a bit of thriller. For every predictable thing there was a twist I didn’t see coming. Brilliant. Rating 9 Not a 10/10 cause ep. 16-17 were a let down, police acted like stupid obviously for plot sake to drag the crime to the grand finale. Ep. 19 was the best one. Little pil goo is talented, but the other version is hot xD
You spare me one hell of a ride, I added this title on my list after watching "Kleun Cheewit", probably like everyone else. I am cleaning up my lakorns ptw list and from your review this looks a lot like "Hua Jai Sila", too overdramatic and soap opera from my taste.
Ep. 16-17 are ruining the ride for me, the investigation took a very stupid turn. Looks like everyone became suddenly…
Dong Baek knows she is a target, and she goes alone to get back the scooter after getting a text by a missing person. The entire city is trying to recall what happened the night Hyang Mi disappeared, trying so hard to remember the license plate of the truck. But they know where is the last place she did the food delivery, why they are not investigating from that house?!! I don’t get it.
Ep. 16-17 are ruining the ride for me, the investigation took a very stupid turn. Looks like everyone became suddenly stupid. Why they had to ruin such a brilliant plot with this no sense. Gladly ep. 18 turn back on track, so much better.
she is awful and I'm only at ep.3.
