I agree on what other have said, great work when it came to camera filming, long action sequences, some remained me old videogames for how they were filmed. But I didn’t like the plot, it was a bit of a mess, they mix too much stuff.
I don’t know about the original version, but between korean “team-bond” dramas, the plot of this one is not that great. It’s fun, I like the action but that’s it. The first 2 episodes were totally different from what it’s now, it became a light procedural, 1 episode and half for each case always related to one member of the team. Sticking around only for the cast, they deserved a stronger script imho.
Kang Ha Neul is fit for this role, cute, weird and hot at the same time. I always loved Gong Hyo Jin but her role sometimes is too pityful, I like it more when she stand up for herself. As for the plot I wish the thriller part would be more “protagonist” and thrilling. So far is basically a rom-com, not complaining but I was expecting something stronger. (I am at ep. 11).
Old school style drama. It's a romance with the typical elements we saw in many older dramas. I was in a drama slump and this was a fun watch to detox from recent on air series, at least for the first 10 episodes, after that it became a bit of a mess with twist plots. Don't watch it if you are not in a mood for older stuff. Don't compare this to modern dramas cause you will get disappointed.
Haven't started this yet but am wanted to get to know the character/personality of "Do Jin Woo" before starting…
At the moment he is a bad character and has the potential to became the antagonist of one of the couples. Can’t say more without huge spoiler on the premiere but so far he look more like a supportive role than a main role.
I can't imagine what kind of character development they will give to Seol Ah. She is bad, selfish and also doesn't have any pride, she only care about her position. At the moment I can't see any kind of redemption for her, I guess it will be a long journey.
My theory is that Haru and Dan Oh were a couple in another comic, they pissed off the writer and end up as an extra in the new comic. I also think that the squid is someone related to Nam Joo family. The big brother they are talking about, he probably pissed the author too and end up being an extra.
All the main male leads gave me a good impression in their previous dramas so I want to check out how they work in this one as a team. But I am not interested in the drama itself, I hope it will surprise me. Let’s start !
Don’t expect anything more.
I had fun. Great cast.
