The time jump between ep. 8 and ep. 9 was too sudden and fast, I am having problem to adapt to the new story. Why skip 7 years when they have 100 episodes to fill?!?
The second lead got to snatch the girl from main lead and confess first. My dream come true. Never tought I would saw that in a kdrama. And the extras became the main love triangle. LoL This show is awesome in making fun of kdrama land.
Despite a few laughs this drama is not grabbing me at all. I think that the plot totally lack of everything, specially…
- they woke up and leave without waiting/looking for each other; - everyone is surprise about them being young but no one is in shock, they just accept it as a normal thing; - they go around acting like fools, instead of trying to adapt at the new society, asking for new documents, identity etc. to justify and match appearance with age; - there were errors in scenes set during the '90
I mean, I get that sometimes you need to adapt the story to make the plot work, but this is a mess, it totally lack of logic.
Despite a few laughs this drama is not grabbing me at all. I think that the plot totally lack of everything, specially logic and common sense. I get that the experiment part is for "fantasy", ok I accepted that, but now that they are awake and living a real life, there are too many convenient not logical things that are happening just for the sake of the plot. The whole plot about the mystery is boring, there is no chemistry between the leads and their old family-friends. The only reason I am still watching is because I am curious to see the lead chemistry as a romance couple, but if that fail on me too this will be a drop. For now it's 5 rating to me.
a lot of ppl are saying that hyun ji only exists for a love interest for sun woo but did yall forget how important…
I didn't get what was the point of her role, but now I think that hyun ji is there for Jenny Jang's development, maybe some kind of redemption. They both suffer a lot but Jenny Jang choose the revenge path while hyun ji is still a good person. It's quite an interesting duo and dynamics.
Had the same tough first time I read it LoL.It was probably translated from the korean synopsis and lost the real…
There is only one theory, writers mind. In fact what I don’t like about her role is that she is annoyed by the job when usually is a patriotic type of job. Maybe they will propose a character development where she start to care. Or as you say she will turn out be a double agent or sell herself to the enemy for money. Overall the script has something wrong, Like it doesn’t make sense that a stuntman is more prepared than an NIS agent. I guess they wanted to write an action plot without thinking to much about it. But we will see, I am behind episodes, read there are twist plots.
After reading the synopsis I am like: how do you just "end up" becoming National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent?
Had the same tough first time I read it LoL. It was probably translated from the korean synopsis and lost the real meaning behind it. It will became more clear when you watch the show, they show how she land this job and her reason of accepting (needs of money). My interpretation is that the “end up” refers to the fact that she didn’t want to be an agent but she needed a job and that’s what she got. Trying to give a sense here lol
I was looking forward to see GHJ again but her role is not grabbing me. Instead I fell for the mystery, I also like how the police is try to deal with a case definitely bigger than their force. They are not city homicide detective after all, so it’s more realistic. The way they mix rom-com with mystery is also more innovative than other similar production. I find it refreshing.
Wonderful journey between the mind of two serial killer, one of them walks between mental lucidity and madness due to alzheimer. Even in this state he will try to defend his daughter from the other serial killer. Despite a few errors both script and cast are at top level, the action makes this psychological journey less heavy to watch.
omg you said what i wanted to sayi think Huyn Ji only there for the romance with Sun Woo
I also think that Sun Woo will eventually start love Jenny as a sister and Huyn Ji as a woman. And he will be conflicted. I hope they will keep the melodrama theme and not force at all cost the romance/happy ending. This is about revenge after all.
I knew this was about demons and exorcism, but being him a professional MMA fighter I was expecting something innovative and different, instead it is the classic exorcist movie. The opening was good, pure horror, I almost regret to have started this before badtime while I am alone in the house, but after a while I was yawning and I lost interest. The plot almost don’t exist, boring dialogues, lack of characters backstory. It’s just a collection of exorcism and fights, the production was lucky to land two of the most hot actors of the 2019. They grab viewers. I gave 6 only for the acting, if it wasn’t for that it would be a 5.
I was skeptical about the plot but I wanted to try it for the cast, glad I did, superb premiere. It makes fun of romance and school drama, without worrying to much to hide which drama is making fun of. I was sick of school-romance drama, this may be a fresh start into this genre.
I am the only one who is watching for the revenge and don’t care that much about the romance tag? I hope Jenny will choose revenge over love, or everything she is doing will be useless. I don’t think she will be able to love someone, romantically speaking, until she complete her revengeful mission. She may be strong on the outside but I think she is crumbling in the inside, I am more curious about her character development than her love life. As much as I love Jenny Jang, on the contrary I don’t like that much Huyn Ji, I don’t get what’s the point to add her character, I can’t place her inside the story. Maybe she will be a key role later on.
The number of episodes about this show wasn't clear since they announced it, after a while it set as 40 episodes but now it change into 60? Well at least it's half an hour episode format. There is still hope this will close without too much drag.
