True.. this drama is excellent and one of the rare gem when you see so many common and almost the same plot drama.…
I love the in-game parts, despite being not perfectly realistic the CGI is great and when they plan strategies or look for better weapons I can relate with when I play games. The bond/rivalry with teams is funny!
On Before We Get Married Aug 27, 2019
This is a romance drama for a more mature audience, the plot is similar to One Spring Night, a woman with a long-term love relationship is shaken up by a man who start showing interest in her, that man is already involved with a "stalker/obsessive/delusional/ girl.
Unfortunately it also share the same frustration from OSN.

The plot is badly written and executed, despite a great starting the drama lost everything along the way, the mature/steamy moments are gone and the plot is filled with the same dynamic, it soon became repetitive and draggy.

I regret I watched this while on air, I was mislead by the first steamy episodes.
Beside the great chemistry between the main couple, very hot and steamy, the story itself doesn't have much to tell. What a shame cause the drama had potential.

Completed only because there were few episodes, if this was longer I would have dropped.
On The King’s Avatar Aug 27, 2019
** The King's Avatar is totally different from LOVE O2O and GO GO SQUID. If you are looking for similar drama because you are a fan of romance this may not be the right drama for you, please consider this before starting TKA and then blame the drama **

TKA is a wonderful story about gaming, e-sport and the friendship/hardship that usually are fromed while playing videogames on high level, but who play "for fun" can still relate a lot. Team bond, in-game section, e-sport career are the main topics of this drama.

I hope everyone would give this drama a try but it's better to alert people before then read their complains later.

OCN shown once again that is the right network to choose if you want to watch a good crime/thriller.
In my opinion this drama was more characters driven than plot driven, and the cast did an awesome job in portraying a plot that was unnecessarily over complicated. The writer took us on a very long detour to keep us engaged but at the end he failed to delivery the “twist plot” we all were waiting for.
When you take down one enemy after another, but there are still episodes to air, it is very easy to see, between the suspects, who is still standing.
I really would love to give this an 8 but despite the great acting, the wonderful soundtrack and some thriller/dramatic moments, I didn’t appreciate how the writer play with us. I can’t stop thinking about God Gift: 14 Days, it had a similar detour, mystery after mystery, but that story untangle bit by bit to end with an epic twist plot.
Watcher had the potential to do the same but it didn't

Final rating 7.5, overall if you love OCN series you will probably enjoy this one too.
On Marry Me Now? Aug 26, 2019
Watched this for Lee Sang Woo/Han Ji Hye pairing but end up falling in love with Kim Kwon's role and his superb acting. Despite having some typical family drama cliché that make your eyes roll, more than half of the drama was well written, characters included and the cast did a wonderful job. If I follow my rating standard, overall this it's a 7.5 drama but the high comedy and Kim Kwan's role win me over so I gave it an 8.

To be honest, I'm on the fence here after watching ep 14 Part of me hates that the "Big Old Turtle :D" was him,…
Had the same feeling.
My reaction was more like “I knew it” than a “omg I didn’t expect it”
Symptom that the writer was able to take us on a long detour but not to create the twist plot effect.
Part of me enjoy it but part of me was disappointed.

Yess the plot at times unnecesarrily too convoluted and some plot cold be handle better and written with more…
Definitely the performance of the cast saved a lot of this show.

Mostly a TOP fan service. It has all the typical action elements about a north spy gone on a mission in the south for the sake of his family. But the plot is plain simple, the writer didn’t bother to explain or elaborate neither the plot nor the characters.
TOP did a great job as an actor but his character was barely sketched while other characters almost didn’t exist, in fact as stated in the detail page, he is the only one to have the main role tag.
The subtle romance with a girl that should evoke his brotherly feeling was totally skippable, it was obviously put there to have “a girl to save”, but considering the little screen time they spent together, this sub-plot was a total failure.

-Overall it was a nice and light action to watch but with a lot of potential wasted-

I really think that TOP could became a full time actor, he has the potential.

The greatness of this drama are the characters. After so long you still don't know if they can be considered good cop, bad cop or both, the line they are walking on is very thin. I love how they try to keep us on the edge with this thriller moments strategically placed at the start and end of each episodes, but overall the drama lack of consistency, some episodes are great whereas some episodes are a bit slow/draggy. A great thriller in my opinion needs a perfect mix between action, thrilling moments and a complex plot but not too complicated. Unfortunately Watcher did the opposite, instead of untangle the puzzle, it keeps complicating things, sometimes they gift us with a thriller moment and a brief explanation only to add tons of new questions immediately after. For this reasons I consider this show more character driven than plot driven. The main point was to show us how people react in a complicated system where is hard to tell what is right and what is not, who is good and who is bad, what you are willing to do to discover the truth and will you be able to do the right thing or get revenge? All question related to our inner humanity. I am waiting the finale to decide if grant an 8 or lower to a 7,5. Watcher shows once again that OCN knows how to do crime/thriller but that doesn't mean they always delivery perfection.

“What the bombers wanted were a strained inter-Korean relation and a new Cold War. The VIP could refer to anyone…
I think you saw too much into it.
I won't go into detail because I don't like doing politics on a drama site, but among all the productions this is definitely the drama that made me less think of propaganda and extremism.
On Designated Survivor: 60 Days Aug 21, 2019
A wonderful political/conspiracy plot portrayed by a great cast/acting.
And I talk as a “not a fan” of this genres at all. Despite a few typical elements very predictable cause usually used in conspiracy plot, the drama was still able to keep me on the edge from the start to the end.
Huge team bond and characters development, with a bit of satirical/comedy to smooth the ride. Highly recommended.

I really believe that some drama don’t need a romance plot line but damn I love so much their bickering that I wouldn’t have mind a subtle romance in this one. But it’s still a great show without it.

What kind of melodrama contain much comedy?
At first I tought that the comedy was smoothing the dramatic part, but now it looks like that the comedy take over, not complaining but it can be confusing if someone was looking for a melodrama. I will update the detail page genres. Since the comedy is not even mentioned.

What a peculiar movie, a mix of historical, martial art (wuxia style), and romance.
The direction play a lot with camera shoot and music to tell the story with little dialogues.
It is one of those strange movie that I usually don’t appreciate but this one got my interest, I loved the fight portrayed as a tango dance between lovers and in general the association they made between dance and martial art.

I finally find out what was bother me, it's the editing, the sequence of scenes looks very random. Definitely…
on ep. 6 they quote the divine comedy by Dante Alighieri.
“Lasciate ogni speranza, o voi che entrate”
It was subbed only in korean, in English is like this: Abandon all hope — Ye Who Enter Here
On When the Devil Calls Your Name Aug 16, 2019
I finally find out what was bother me, it's the editing, the sequence of scenes looks very random. Definitely not my favorite type of direction, but at least now I can put my mind at ease and enjoy the show, which seems to promise well, the plot finally moved on from the introduction, each character has his own sup-plot to unfold, they already start to explain a few past connections and we even got a glimpse of characters development, specially the FL is more confident.

On Daddy You, Daughter Me Aug 13, 2019
First 15 minutes were so bad that I almost drop it, but then he had to go to school and she had to go to work and the real comedy kicked in. During this the two of them start to understand each other and develop a very cute father/daughter relationship. Very touching the credits and funny the after ending.
