I love how they portrait the psychological complexity of the mother-child relationship.
They show in a perfect way how a "sick" relationship can influence children till adulthood.

I like how they portrait the difficulty of the police forces. It's not easy to choose to enforce the law even knowing that you are not doing the right thing from the humanistic point of view. Unfortunately, often law and burocracy end up harming the victims rather than helping them.

What I didn't like is the doctor. He has known the woman for too little time to be so involved in the case. I would have preferred to give more space and action to the policeman in charge of the investigations.

Beside that I love the main cast. They are awesome and they did a great job.

I also point that out on my previous comment. She is really bad, beside her role is just there to explain while Geu Rim choose to work in a radio, they could cut her out in some way after they explain that.

Another thing that I point out is that there are too many secondary characters just sketched that are useless for the purpose of the plot.
A plot that's already very weak itself doesn't need all this characters that got only 5 minute of acting so you can't know their story and get a connection with.

If you focus only on the main couple, the radio show and romance the drama is still enjoyable. At least is not the same fantasy-romance crap. that they have offered us throughout 2017

Even if I'm enjoying it, I think the 8.3 vote is way to high for this drama.
A vote of 7 is already me being nice. Speaking objectively I think it should be a 6.5

It was good indeed! Love the little girl story, very sad. And how Ji So Hoo's story is getting out, about his true emotions and family issue. Love the triangle too, I think the PD really like her.

we think they should say or do something cause we are used to new drama who are all similar, how many romantic fantasy we got last year?!?!

This drama is a simple romantic comedy. Actually it's an old style k-drama love comedy.
If you have higher standard just pass by.
I'm enjoying it, I was in a mood for romance and I miss old k-drama or I'm just a bit nostalgic. Anyway
The love triangle is unnecessary but it makes sense if you think at this drama as an old one. I don't know if the writer / producer did it on purpose to add so many cliche to honor/parody old drama or if they just didn't have better ideas. ?!

I really didn't expected the end of ep. 8 O.o

1. It doesn't matter if she is guilty or not, when you are a public figure and get in a scandal you must step down from your position and clear your name, it's called common sense. She made a scene just because she lost her spot. 2. she keep lying to her husband an friend only to defend her career.
3. She destroy 3 man just to became successful
4. I really hope her karma will hit her like a truck! :D

I hope this is just the premise of the drama and that she will mature. Call her strong character ok, but please don't tell me you like her as a woman, cause I will be ashamed to be like her.

I tough Go Hye Ran was a "good" prideful woman. But she is a manipulative bitch, selfish, liar and childish. I like strong female lead but right now I don't like her at all. I'm all for Kevin's wife!

Wrost finale season ever! What a waste! If you want to watch it, do it till ep 10 then make up your own plot end ending :D

I start watching k-drama thanks to cliché on old drama like boys over flower and shining inheritance so it would be hypocritical to judge this drama bad for the cliche. If you put cliche in drama like signal or misty I would be the first one to say "what the hell" but cliche in a romantic comedy are common and I find them funny. I also don't find anything wrong with the age gap, we are on 2018 For god sake, they are both young, it's not like he is forty! The flaw in this drama are other minor stuff, like gue rim'mother who can't act as blind person in a proper way, the general plot is a bit Weak and like always to many character just Sketched. after all I'm still enjoying the show, sometime I need something light to turn my mind off, like when you read "beach book" on holidays.

This drama is really high quality. I have waited for the Korean version since the announcement of the original Japanese.

The tension in this drama is so high that it could be a thriller!

I think this drama is very boring, I can't watch a single episode without being distracted by something else. I usually like school/romance and time travel but this one is not in my target age.... Too slow, innocent and sweet. Probably I would have liked it as a teenager. I just want to point out that this is a consideration that I'm doing about myself. Maybe there are adult who like this one and teenager who hate it.

What a start! Karma is a bitch and that man's ego is killing the show. What a shame the plot will make a different turn. I'm not confident on how they will fall in love again after seeing a strong character like Kevin.

People who rate thing before they end It's a common know problem here on MDL. There were many request to open rating only when the show is ended. But admin always refuse. Same goes for the review.

OMG the cast!! It's always a pleasure find out who is on the cast while watching instead that read it before! Hope it will be good, I was waiting for the child prodigy Kim So Hyun to grow up!

Not so much. the main plot is more about revenge.

One of the best 2017 (late) k-drama.

Great scrip, a very different makjang for once, wonderful acting, lee mi sook and jang hyuk were awesome. Beautiful soundtrack and I loved all those elegant outfits!

I really liked how they explain every details in the end and wrap things up.

Kang pil joo revenge was perfect but very sad, he should have read his mother will better but then we wouldn't have this drama :D

Totally agree, the one I really miss is Hwang Jung Eum! Hope she get some project cause I still need to watch one of my favorite actress for the MDL contest. I have other favorites but it would be great if she comes back.
