I thought Huang Xiao Ming dropped out from season 2 because of the negative press about his past relationship with Li Fei Er. How come he is still hosting this?

This show has probably the most actors/actresses of Uyghur ethnicity. I just realised that Abi (one of the weaving Palace maid) is the actress who played Adu in Goodbye My Princess and is an Uyger too.

To think that he machinated everything from even before Ling Long was born. That guy is exceptionally intelligent, patient and meticulous. So far all his plans materialised, e.g Jiner going to the fire village and producing Ling Long, Ling Long leaving the fire village and going to the capital and the events that led to him getting the stone from Yin Jia.

Perhaps the only thing that he didn't expect is for Yin Zhuang to fall for the "ordinary" guy Huo Tu Xin.

I'm intrigued by Wei Sheng Yan. He comes across as this cold blooded business man with only eyes for power and money. Turns out, he really cares for/loves Yin Zhuang and goes all out to save her. This guy is complex and dodgy but it's interesting to watch what he is up to.

I have a question. Does anyone know if the ML has been married before? When his friend was looking for a concubine (cause his main wife has trouble conceiving), the friend mentioned that the ML was older than him and asked why he didn't look for a replacement of his deceased wife. He said it in ancient form, so I'm not sure if I understand it correctly. Was the ML married before but his wife died or he never married before?
