Apperantly in the novel general song will end up betraying XQ for power (and he has a secret crush on Awu). But they've changed quite a lot in the drama adaption (e.g. in the novel the crown princess was never raped by the crown prince), so who knows they may change general song's trajectory as well.

To give her the benefit of the doubt, she is not aware that it is poison. She thought it is some pill that will neutralise Awu's love for the 3rd prince. But what I can't stand is that she is not using her brain and just blindly follows the crown princess' instructions. Awu is obviously over the 3rd prince and fully devoted to XQ. So why does she still need to feed Awu that pill? Just not logical.

If you can endure then suggest that you compile and binge watch (more satisfying). Depends how much self control you have lol

It was a spy letter. Thru this letter Awu found out that her dad was spying on XQ. She is worried as she understands that both her dad and hubby don't trust each other and there may be one day where she has to choose between the 2 , i. e. choose either her family or her hubby

Hahaha. Let her be. She is entitled to her own opinion and so do we. She wasn't positive about L&R either but I thought it was one of the best xian xia shows.

Because as a general he is bound to get injured or even killed. He doesn't want her to worry about him or be sad when he really gets killed. So he loves her but was trying to push her away cause he thought that would be in her best interest.

Yes, I also was in a dip for awhile after the show. But I didn't regret seeing it one bit. This is one of those dramas that gives you a bittersweet feeling and will linger on for years to come. I think I'll be rewarding it soon. Hahaha
