For me, personally, this is the type of BL that makes me want to rethink all the other BLs that I've given maximum rate to and leave it at the peak of the list. Tane was the strongest binding ever for their love. The child actor did an amazing job in this role, and the couple wouldn't have felt so satisfying to end up together without the baby brother. Both main actors have a refined type of chemistry and they've kept me focused the whole time on their story's development. I wholeheartedly can say that this is the type of BL series I can watch over and over again, without getting bored and discovering new details every time I watch it.

Every once in a while a BL comes and it makes me want to give it 10 points and lower the points I gave to the rest of similar series. This is one of those series. It's the first Korea BL I watch this year and I must say that I am very surprised by the quality of the plot, acting and overall directing. Seems like the KnBLnindustry has been taking notes and now they're applying what they've learned from feedbacks until now.

I love the second season too, probably more than the first one. I love how the season talked about loneliness…
Exactly. They are two very different people and I love that they didn't sugar coat how difficult and lonely it is to be with a person who is a celebrity. Sometimes love is not enough, especially when one person feels like they're not enough, that they have to heal something before they can embrace love on long term.

2024 years old😂... wow he looks so young and sexy... And isn't this 2022 still? How is he born in year 0 and be 2 years older than current date 🤔 When someone will correct his info my comment will seem so weird 🤣🤣🤣

This series was good. The kind of good of the "fluff" type. I can't be mad about anything, they showed what type of BL they offer from the first episode, and delivered exactly that. For me, it was a well-paced fluff BL. I have no complaints about it because it didn't raise expectations to be anything else than what it is. Mick is so damn cute, for me he was the heart of the whole series. And Momo... she is my newest girl crush and I rarely get those <3

I know this is wishful thinking, but I really hope we get a season 2. I haven't been so emotionally attached to…
I feel the same about this series. Not only every case, every story was very well done, the acting is top notch, I also think that such a series could maybe help some people out who have gone through a very hard time and want to end it all. South Korea is one of the top countries when it comes to number of suicide, and most of the times it's not that people want to end their lives but end the suffering and injustice done to them. So, such a series getting a 2nd season might raise the awareness around this subject.

Despite of the lack of chemistry, I liked it. I like that K BLs are starting to be released in higher numbers than the previous years. I'm looking forward to all of them.

I don't have a good impression of the sml since the beginning. From the first, he beats up zi ping, then uses…
I probably should have explained that I tend to see the potential in the second male character and I like that potential, but I didn't think anyone would actually read my comment so I didn't explain further. I completely agree with you, he's agressive and manipulative, and that is a disappointment. The whole series up to the ep I've watched today (32) seems not to be very heavy on the drama and suspense side (I'm used to k-drama style of heavier dramatic moments and plots) so his character seems to have pulled the unlucky straw, so he ended up with some of the worst characteristics compared to the rest of the characters. This is probably my second period c-drama, so I know next to nothing, but I will give Yanxi Palace a try since you've mentioned it.

It really wasn't necessary to add the last conflict where Valen misunderstood Kaitoon twice... Valen's character…
I want to see Gun in a better written drama. Valen was a poorly written character, but Gun is a good actor and he deserves better story and character.
On Love Area Part 2 Mar 11, 2022
It really wasn't necessary to add the last conflict where Valen misunderstood Kaitoon twice... Valen's character was supposed to grow up not further hurt Kaitoon and then get easily forgiven again... Also, Nont... poor guy, he was supposed to be real competition for Valen because he is nice, respectful, caring, calm and understanding, and this season should have shown Valen outshining all that to proove that he is the one for Kaitoon, but I guess not...
On Gen Y Season 2 Mar 11, 2022
Hmmmm dunno what to say... Although I love the characters, this season felt slow af. Even a kiss took a quarter of an episode from the look, to moving closer, to touching lips... There were parts of the stories that if developed further would have made this season exceptional. I feel bad for Bas and Copter to be honest, Kimmon too since his character lost most of his enthusiasm that he had in first season... Bas needs a good plot line where he can shine, his character Wayu is too mellow for his nature, almost like his character kept him stuck being the forever sad and heartbroken boy. I'm definitely looking forward to new dramas with these actors, but not this one or not with this director.

When Shinohara Ryoko is in a drama, I always know it will be an amazing one. I loved this series for the rawness of it. It's my first time seeing so many couples and so many different issues being shown in a very realistic way. The whole cast was amazing. Sakura's character was solid till the end. It might feel weird for many seeing that she helped her abusive husband in the end and then had her own fresh start. However, her role was of a very loving and dedicated wife and manager. She doubled the love she had for the salon exactly because she wasn't able to do a stylist's job. Once out of the abusive marriage, she was strong enough to help the ex for the sake of the business she loved and which was her reason to go on for years. I don't like people reducing her effort to "why that bastard was so lucky to get her help in the end" and rather say "she was so strong, she was the one who was capable of forgiving and saving what took a good part of her life and then she even moved on to have a fresh start for herself".

I really enjoyed this mature drama- it is so nice to see different types of couples each with their own pain,…
Glad to see someone saying this. It is a drama tackling real situations and issues in adults' lives and that includes intimacy too. Those who aren't ready for it, shouldn't watch. There are plenty other series tackling the same issues that don't include nudity.
