Sometime with j-dramas, I feel we are oscillating between total prude and full on soft porn! This left me wondering…
It depends on what type of jdramas you tend to watch. A big part of my watchlist, if not most of it is made of jdramas, yet I wouldn't generalise about the intimacy moments and how they are shown. There are certain types and genre of series, some are full on fanservice with not much of a plot, others want to show the rawness of the real life situation. In this series they've used it for the latter. Intimacy isn't always about the money (and that's really an insult for the actors playing here which are most very respected and talented), it is a part of life, and to portray the deep dark reality of some situations in adults' lives they can't beat around the bush about it. The naked body is a work of art, but to label it just as "porn" it means that the whole depth behind the scene was totally missed.

My all time favourite actress. The way she becomes the role that she plays and the wide variety of emotions she displays, is all really touching for me. I have all the love and respect for her ❀️

I actually liked this series. I'm single, but most of the people around me and friends are already married, so the way the difference in thinking and attitude between single people and married ones was done pretty realistically. When it comes to cheating, it really depends on the person how they react, some explode and make a whole mess before having any real proof, others "collect" proof over time and keep on trying to find reasons why it would be better to stay instead of unbalancing their life with a divorce, others suffer in silence and need time to adjust mentally and emotionally untill they make the final decision. Each person, each relationship, have their own characteristics, and although it's easy to say "I'd do this or that if I was you" while being totally detached from what that couple, no one beside the two partners actually know the truth and reality of their relationship. Friends should know and respect that and give their support and help when needed, just like it happened here, although the issue of the violent husband was kind of magically solved without showing anything about how that happened. But, yeah, overall they've shown well the struggles of a wife who is trying at the same time to stay sane, to see the truth and make a decision.

Enjoyable series overall. I would have loved if the story would have worked on the difference of views about life, love and work that were between Maze and Phab. Although at the end they both showed they've embraced eachother's worlds, I would have loved to see how exactly that happened, but instead distance was shown as a stimulant of change and acceptance. Second couple needed more to happen between them to justify how they fell for eachother and to make it seem like a solid relationship to even announce it publicly. But, both couples had chemistry that pretty much surpassed the lacks, so I'm not mad about it at all.

Nagisa's issues are mainly rooted in how society and those around him have pushed him into a standard that was not allowing him to be himself. When the person is young they have enough energy and are still sensitive to influence to think they can go forever being who others want them to be, but the sadness of lying to oneself and denying their truth will always throw anyone into chaos. Some can handle it elegantly, others get complications like a marriage and even children. In this case Sora was what brought them all together to accept the truth and get along for her sake. The story rises a very serious issue and I wish this example would get more popular so that in real life marriages wouldn't be sacrificed and children pulled from two sides because society didn't give everyone the chance to be themselves and be respected as everyone deserves.

So many questions after the last bit that hints the 3rd season. What happened with Yoo Han? He will look different? Was his surgery related to being a Probe? Why is MonoWife there? I hope that in 3rd season Se Hyun will find his Probe, I really don't want him out of the story, but I do want Yeon Woo to be happy with Yoo Han too... So much to look forward to ☺️

This was surprisingly good. Gonna feel withdrawal for a couple of days because of how entertaining and intense it was. Would definitely watch it again more than once.

I liked the characters, the chemistry was definitely there. However, many scenes felt too rushed especially towards the end, other scenes should have been there but weren't. Not a bad short BL series at all, the story and actors could've been amazing if this was better thought through and planned in a way that scenes flow from one to another and don't feel abruptly cut sometimes. We do get 3 kisses (well, 2 and a half) which is worlds apart from other Korean BL series, so I'm grateful to see a step forward in this sense.

This was too good β™₯️ All actors did a great job, but the main characters were amazing. I knew Hana is talented, but this was just a whole new level of acting skill. I never saw any gesture or look that might have shown she wasn't blind. Yosuke was the most pleasant surprise I've had in a long while when it comes to Japanese actors. He portraied his character perfectly with both sides, the yankee and the loving guy who has a pure heart, and somehow made all that work together.

This series was cute. Yuki was perfect, I'm surprised he hasn't have many main roles so far and I hope he'll get more main roles in the future.

I loved this series, but what I appreciated the most is Kiyoi's perspective, that a gorgeous person who is admired by many is still, in fact, a normal person. Usually in dramas I saw the perspective of the gorgeous character presented in a point where all the drama gets unfolded and their perspective is used as a tear-jerker. Kiyoi sure is the perfect tsundere boyfriend and I'm living for it. So happy to see him correct the image that Hira had about him and to make sure he will drop the whole slave-god thing he had going on for a real relationship where they're in love with eachother and very much on the same level.

Ngl but was this really BL beside what other characters imagined? It was fun, but BL... really? Hmm... (BL means Boys Love, but bromance is just more than friendship but not intimate, while BL means romantic feelings about same male gender people)... Do we need a new genre for this? Bc shounen-ai and yaoi/BL seems it doesn't cut it.
On Gameplay Garnpaphon Laolerkiat Dec 7, 2021
Gameplay is slowly and surely becoming my fave BL actor. Not only he knows how to match well with his partner actors and portrays naturally the emotions in each scene, but he has an amazing singing voice and his cooking shows are so cute and entertaining. He is versatile, talented and a very warm presence overall. I really wish he would get a main role in a major drama if that is what he would wish to do too. Either way, I'm fully supporting him in everything that he does because he is dedicated and passionate 😍

Gameplay was unbearably cute here, tsundere but cute. In the scene where he cried, I've noticed for the first time how pretty his eye color is. I really want to see him in longer series with better plot. I like his chemistry with Folk, and I wouldn't mind at all if they would get a series together. Although the story and scenes were kind of rough and the cast was limited, I did feel what they wanted to convey in this story. Overall I liked it and would watch again for Gameplay any time.
